Prior to AI, society was forced to lead by articulation. Now, people are able to lead by insight. There are many who are good at articulation, but have no original insight of their own. Changing of the guard.

Replaced by AI.
"In any profession, 90% of people are clueless but work by situational imitation, narrow mimicry & semi-conscious role-playing. Except social "science" and journalism where it is 99% and 100%, respectively." - @nntaleb

Knowledge is an emergent property of society. It makes aense to expect this and other emergent properties to be shaped by context: the urban system they inhabit. Interesting correlation.
It looks like practically all ancient Greek philosophers were born either in port cities or within one days's walk of salt water:

If you try to eat less than ~2,500 kcal/d, you're *supposed to be* hungry. Man just wasn't built to live off <2,500 kcal/d. From an evolutionary standpoint, here's how it's supposed to work... Caloric intake falls, paleolithic man sitting around fire gets hungry. This hunger motivates him to *move*... Sometimes over very long distances in search of food. Trying to ignore or suppress this signal (or the resultant outcome -> extended movement) is suppressing the natural biological balance of your body. Hunger -> Move -> Find food. This is the natural satiety cycle.
Satiety & appetite suppression are not the same thing. The former comes from returning to the timeless, balanced truth of how humans are designed to eat, move and live. The latter keeps trying to avoid it.

I have always loved the STUN method (strategic total utter neglect) because if a tomato can seed itself into whatever little crack, let it live! We baby things way too much and it makes them weak. Applies to a lot of things
Never seen anything more true in my life.

Do you have 9 acres? I have a plan you will love. One scenario is 1,220 units on floors 2-6. 122 studios, 305 1BDs, 488 2BDs, 244 3BDs, and 61 4BDs. Plus about 177,000 sf of ground floor for whatever.
Remember this astonishing proposal for the Sunset site? As part of today's presentation, I will be showing what a courtyard block development could look like on the same site--and others in the area. Including square footage, unit mix, etc.

Light green insects — my favorite color captured in natures favorite color, with your favorite larva in the middle. We humans can only see a narrow slice of the wavelength of light, from infrared to ultraviolet. Right in the middle of our visible range lies the wavelength we are most sensitive to: approximately 550 nanometers. That specific point of peak sensitivity corresponds to a fresh, bright green — the very hue that surrounds us in forests, meadows, and gardens. No wonder a simple walk in nature feels so restorative. Our eyes are literally tuned to drink in that vibrant green.
