Islamist terrorists carried out a horrific massacre against Jordan’s Christian community today in Karak, south of Amman. The three attackers opened fire during a funeral at St. George Orthodox Church, killing seven people and wounding dozens in an atrocity that sent shockwaves through Christian communities across the Middle East. King Abdullah II vowed to confront those seeking to destabilize Jordan and threaten its centuries-old Christian presence. Jordanians from across the political spectrum have rallied behind his commitment to combating ISIS-inspired Islamist terrorism. Public outrage intensified after CCTV footage of the attack circulated online, revealing the cold-blooded targeting of defenseless civilians gathered to mourn a loved one.
What is particularly revealing is that some of the same people condemning today’s massacre of Jordanian Christians celebrated or excused Hamas’s equally brutal murder of Israeli civilians on October 7. It is remarkable how readily some affirm the sanctity of innocent civilian life in one context and correctly denounce its killing as terrorism, yet deny that same humanity in another and rebrand the murder of civilians as “resistance.”

I’ve been released from IDF custody with a “warning,” apparently because of my public profile (I told them I wasn’t even a congressmember yet, just a nominee).
But several dozen rabbis & participants harvesting olives with me are still in detention. For harvesting olives. They should all be released immediately.
To be clear: Palestinians face far worse consequences every day. These detentions by the IDF are one more attempt to undermine Palestinians’ right to harvest their olive groves, travel on their roads, and live in their homes. Yet one more element of escalating, and very clearly state-sponsored ethnic cleansing.

I'm a Michigan voter, a Jew, and a lifelong Democrat who will not be voting for Abdul El-Sayed. He supports the most repressive, fascist, genocidal regimes in the Middle East because they oppose Israel, which contains half the world's Jews.
Telling me to vote for him "for the greater good" would be akin to telling a Black voter to support a member of the Klan.

I still cannot believe how much mileage this settler violence op has achieved. It’s genuinely a Soviet-style level information operation (Abbas must have learned well from his time in Moscow training in antizionism). Ship in a bunch of foreign radicals, team up with some far-left Israelis with authority issues, and join hands with terrorists, making sure everyone comes with cameras and iPhones at the ready (these are explicit orders). Then produce an enormous quantity of visual “evidence” of the evil settlers while leaving out every time you attack and harass them in brazen terrorist attacks and riots. Inject that into the global antiziosphere and let racist Western journalists go wild.
Too bad they got caught.
