I’m so incredibly excited to announce that I will be training in Internal Medicine at @UMIntMed @umichmedicine - what a great way to find out I’m going to be a Wolverine! #Match2025 #GoBlue
I just found out that I’ll be joining the Central Pennsylvania Symphony as a hornist for the rest of their 2024-2025 season. I’m so, so excited to make music again 📯🎶🤩
Hi #MedTwitter friends!
My name is Joshua and I’m a fourth-year MD/MEd student at @PennStHershey applying #InternalMedicine for #Match2025 🫀🫁
I’m passionate about medical education 🩺, house plants 🪴, hospital medicine 🏥, cast iron cooking 🍳, and a good cold brew ☕️❌🔥
Sharing meditation and mindfulness techniques I learned during my religious studies education at @PittRELGST with two separate patients today was a surreal experience. I’m missing my profs and my time at @PittTweet a little extra today #H2P #HailToPitt
An adolescent patient saw the rainbow pin on my ID badge and ended up coming out to me today 🏳️🌈 I’m the first adult they’ve ever let see their real self 🥺
I am so incredibly proud of my soon-to-be colleagues’ commitment to the health and well-being of our patients and for their bravery - can’t wait to work with y’all in the coming years. Abortion is healthcare.

Banned: abortion, discussions of racism in schools, gender-affirming care, books with LGBTQ characters, mention of same-sex families in schools.
Not banned: AR-15s.

Wait, so gun control laws aren’t going to help prevent shootings but laws against abortion are supposed to stop abortions?
A HUGE thanks to @dermangelo for an awesome talk on LGBTQ+ dermatology this evening! It’s so, so wonderful to hear from someone filled with so much joy (and sass) and love for what they do 🤩

From @gaytimes: + I would just like to clarify that we are seeing more LGBTQ adults & kids because more of us are being allowed to live, not because anyone is coercing us into our identities.
Love is love, gender isn’t binary, and queerness is natural 💕
Excited to have been accepted to the Department of Emergency Medicine’s summer research program at @PennStHershey! Anyone have any neat derm x EM ideas?

"queer not as being about who you are having sex with, that can be a dimension of it, but queer as being about the self that is at odds with everything around it and has to invent and create and find a place to speak and to thrive and to live."

Feeing humbled that I was able to attend and learn from these three phenomenal speakers - can’t think of a better way to spend an afternoon that learning about dermatology! #dermtwitter – at Hershey, PA

I’m having so many conversations about the concern that vaccines interfere with cells’ genetic material but no one seems freaked out that viruses jump right in there and make our cells little virus factories
These first few weeks of medical school have been a bit of a whirlwind, so I’m glad I got this nifty new coat today!

Just got an email stating there’s evidently a national shortage of blood.
Seems like #Pride2021 would be a great time to drop the homophobic practice of denying blood donations from MSM, but what do I know, I’m just a doctor 🤷🏻♂️
