One year ago today, I left not only the Auburn beat, but sports writing altogether.
People often ask me if I miss it. I thought I might. But the honest answer is that I don't. I needed to make the change I did.

I didn't think I could feel dejected after watching my favorite football team beat the defending Super Bowl champions but these Broncos are a unique bunch.
Really enjoying the few bits of football ABC is fitting in between the political ads for states I don't live in!
Thought I was done with this being part of my life once I stopped covering Gus Malzahn. Alas.
The Broncos are taking a more collaborative play-calling approach this week with HC Sean Payton having an increased role in the process and OC Davis Webb continuing with a significant game-planning and game-day role, per sources. Denver is looking to spark its offense ahead of Sunday’s game at Los Angeles vs. the Chargers.
