There are places in Kenya when you buy land, you never really buy it. They come for it later. You cultivate maize, they either slash or graze cows. If it survives they harvest. Yaani you have to constantly pay for the land even if you have a title deed.

The presidency under Ruto has spent an average of KSh 3 billion on domestic travel since 2023.
Uhuru's five-year average spending on domestic travel was KSh 1.05 billion.

Last election there was violence even inside Bomas. The IEBC was even split. Not a single Kikuyu displaced a Luo and vice versa. 2017 was volatile. Even baby pendo was killed by Uhuru and Matiang'i. Yet violence was largely in Nyanza and contained. Imagine if it was Kalenjins.
