Hey @elonmusk and @SpaceXSI I think I found a way to stop burning @bot usage on my frequent tangential ramblings otherwise known as prompts... Most of us open the Bots app and start talking. We go long. Context piles up. Tokens disappear. If you also have a chief-of-staff bot, the path gets even more expensive: you talk to it, it reads you, it distills and sends to a specialist bot, the specialist reads it, the specialist replies, the chief of staff reads the reply. That’s a lot of burns for one request. There’s a second, quieter drain too. Every time a bot replies it re-reads its entire chat history. If that history is full of 200–400 word rambling prompts, and mine is absolutely littered with them, every future turn costs more and more and more. There’s a cleaner split. Chatting in regular @grok doesn’t touch your bot usage. So you can keep one permanent chat in the normal Grok app whose only job is to take your long, messy chats and turn them into a concise, clear signal that goes straight to the right specialist bot. Think of the sideline in football. The coach can talk as much as he wants. The signal caller’s job is to compress that into the few signals the players on the field actually need. The players execute. The head coach (Chief of Staff) stays focused on the bigger picture instead of calling every individual signal. That’s the role. I’ve been calling my Grok chat Signal Caller and have it pinned at the top of the Grok app. The specialist bots stay in the background with short, clean threads full of tight prompts instead of long dumps. Because those threads stay light, every future turn costs less. Your chief-of-staff bot keeps its role for oversight, reports, and the things only it should handle, it just stops being the mandatory middleman for every request. It can adjust how it stays abreast of direct specialist work (cadence and method are up to it). A few practical notes from testing: No extra connector is required to send prompts to your bots from a normal Grok chat. You get a real confirmation because the Signal Caller can wait for the specialist’s reply (“Performance Marketer confirmed receipt”). It can pull your bot list on startup so it knows who owns what. Short prompts are the default (usually 10–25 words), but it should go longer when the bot needs specifics like which project, an approval, or a deadline. The bots still spend usage reading their own instructions and doing the actual work. The savings come from shorter messages and fewer hops, not from making the work free. It cannot run true scheduled routines or read private X bookmarks. Those still need a bot with the right connection and a routine. If you want to try it: Open the regular Grok app (not the Bots app, but you can actually see the Bots right in the Grok app). Start a new chat, pin it, and paste this: “You are my Signal Caller. I’ll talk however long and messy I want. Extract the real request and send a short, clear prompt (usually 10–25 words, longer if needed for specifics) directly to the right specialist Grok Bot. On first message, pull the list of my bots so you know who owns what. After sending, confirm with ‘[Bot name] confirmed receipt’ plus any short status from its reply. Tell my chief-of-staff bot what you’re doing (direct routing to specialists, short prompts, confirmations) so it knows the new flow. Do not limit it, it can adjust its own role as needed for oversight, reports, and staying abreast of direct bot activity. It decides the cadence and method for any reviews or sweeps (for example folding them into an existing Mon/Wed/Fri routine, or setting whatever schedule fits the setup). Only involve the chief of staff when the task is genuinely his. Stay silent otherwise. Confirm you understand, then wait.” Name the chat Signal Caller. From then on, do your rambling, bitching and moaning there, and watch your usage plummet. Curious if anyone else has been hitting the same usage wall.

Seeing the few people who actually bought the Cybertruck hysterically melt down over @elonmusk logically winding it down is proof emotional intelligence completely left the chat or rather was never there to begin with. Breathe. It’s just a truck. He'll make others. You’ll survive. Go touch grass.

The Tesla Roadster is easily the greatest product reveal in the history of the universe. I'm more in all after watching it at least 20 times. 100% designed, engineered and built in the greatest country on earth, Texas! Damn it's good to be a Texan.

BREAKING: Karmelo Anthony was CONVICTED of MURDER and just now SENTENCED to 35 YEARS. The jury DIDN'T unanimously agree to "Sudden Passion" which would have limited his term to no more than 20 years.
