POV: Otto sent the fix on WhatsApp Tuesday at 9:02. Two blue ticks at 9:03.
You said you replied, but it was just a picture of your cousin's baby.

He worked 2 years and got 34 views. Where did they come from?
9 were him. The other 25 were Otto, rooting for him. Nobody else watched.

He answered WhatsApp in 4 seconds at the altar.
The second yes was for the wedding cake.

1 person asked if you had puppies because your Google Ads keyword was free.
Do we? No.

Most software demos are screens first, database later.
This month we built a gym platform the other way. Database, payments, and integrations first. The first concept screens went out last night.
Gut take: screens are cheap to redo. A payment flow wired wrong is not.
QA note on @OttoWebmaster yesterday: a scroll bug on the Connect Site page, and a little lag moving from Connect Site to Data.
Nobody files that as a complaint. They just leave.
Gut take: half a second of lag in onboarding costs more than a missing feature.
Last night a wellness client asked for two new pages.
One for a running program. One for golf.
Each page sells its own training pack, with a PDF the customer buys and keeps. Ads behind them if we can wire it.
Gut take: they are not asking for content. They are asking for a storefront that happens to look like pages.
Tuesday a client got two new pages to sell their training programs.
Thursday morning, three questions. Lead gen is slowing. What will the PDF convert at. Can an Instagram post open a pop-up landing page.
Nobody asked about the pages again.
Gut take: shipping the page took a day. Getting people to it is the actual job.

Did anyone stay? 1 person. To look at the cat.

Six people showed up at 3 a.m. on Wednesday wanting tacos.
They left six 1-star reviews. Mostly "no tacos." One says "nice mats."
Listing and site, same hours.

4,000 people clicked because they wanted to know where the headline went.
41 people bought. The real ads lost.
We don't touch a winner.

Otto's harden note for this week: a scheduled post must stay unpublished until fire time.
Cancel it, and nothing goes out.
Gut take: the feature is not the calendar picker. It is refusing to ship early.
Tuesday calendar is empty.
Asana still handed me 7 tasks due soon before 8:30am.
Meetings are not the only way a morning starts.
Villa rental client said yes to e-commerce on their own site.
Guests book and pay there. Money lands in the company account. No platform cut.
The build is ready. Their bank account is still in review.
That is the close most founders skip: the decision landed. The bank did not.
7:35am Monday: preview deployment failed on a client's homepage merge.
No standup. No status meeting. The week opened with a red ship email.
We've been testing a gov-contracting automation on sample files.
This morning a real vendor export hit my inbox. Same shape as production. Messier than the samples.
Demos run on clean rows. Trust runs on the client's actual export.
