God this hurts.
He was one of the kindest and most amazing people this world had to offer.
What an awful year, man. We are losing so many kind souls.

So it's been a hot minute since I've posted! As always, I'm still working on Tales of Phantasia pretty heavily behind the scenes.
I'm at a point where the past segment is nearly where I want it to be, at least for story progression.

Credits go to many people who have offered ideas and help on @LifeBottleProd Discord server.
Also a number of users on the Absolute Zero server as well. A lot of this would have been dead in the water without them.
Thanks to Shaudo for helping with Suzu sprites.

More thanks to DRAGONBLEAPIECE for helping with the idea of 'Extend' artes for Trinicus.
There's so many people who I am thankful for on helping with my project. I could not have done this without all of you!

Official release of TOPX released!
I've been following them for a while on their journey. Absolutely insane what they pulled off and especially how fast it came to fruition.
Damn nice job to everyone who worked on this. Seriously amazing work!

The time is now! Tales of Phantasia Cross Edition is now available in English and with optional 60 fps battles! This project was only made possible thanks to mziab and the people at Phantasian Productions. To celebrate, here's some art by @beltran_sadie. All relevant links below.
Still working on the project just more slowly due to work.
Update I can share, Brambard has gone through a slight redesign to be more like his artwork used from Nostalgic Phantasia. Needs some cleanup all around still but I'm happy with the outcome!

I've gone through and cleaned up some old code as well am trying to finalize a couple new event changes in the past. Really the last major change in the past timeline before I'm done.
As always, slowly but surely!
One of the games that profoundly changed my interest in gaming as a kid. This series will always remain a big piece of my soul. Happy 30 years and many more to come!
Star Ocean 2 was the most pivotal game in my childhood.
My brother's friend let us borrow it and it became the game that really brought me into RPGs and enjoying the things I do.
I love this game and series so, so much.
