I mean, just an all-time TV segment. Making Chuck do Who He Play For multiple times in a row with the same players is a brilliant idea and I was legit crying laughing by the end, my god.
Some coaches treat X like the white board in the football coaches office.
Whoever has the marker last wins.
Any “coach” that has all the answers, has never had to answer a real question.
Views from the bucket seat always clearer.

Pat Murphy says becoming a father completely changed the way he coached, and now every player he views and coaches as somebody else’s son
“It’s got to be real, man. You can’t just say it. You’ve got to live it. When it’s about your kid, when you’re raising kids by yourself, you’re clueless, man. You don’t know what you’re doing. I don’t know what I’m doing. I didn’t have that kind of, my parents were way older than me, so I don’t know how to parent. I don’t know what I’m doing, but it’s really important to me.”
“And I started thinking about it like, every kid I coach is somebody’s Kai Joseph. You know what I mean? Every kid I coach, they have parents who love their kid the way I love my kid.”
“Wow, I’ve got to be a little mindful how I treat these guys. I’ve got to be a little mindful about, like, it’s my job.”
“This profession isn’t about the wins and losses. This profession is about, how do I impact this person?

Pat Murphy uses climbing a mountain to explain how he wants his team to handle getting closer to its goal.
“As you get closer, you just got to keep your footing…you can’t look too far ahead. When you look up for the prize…you might step in a crack or a pothole.”
Getting close to a goal can pull a team away from the very things that put it within reach.
Players start pressing. Coaches feel compelled to say more. Everyone wants to make something happen.
Part of leading in those moments is helping people trust the work they’ve done and stay connected to what the next play (and moment) requires.
Keep the goal in view and the next step in focus.

JAMEIS WINSTON WITH AN ALL-TIME QUOTE ON FOCUSING ON THE PRESENT:
“The Bible says a day is like a 1000 years and a 1000 years a day. Yesterday feels like a thousand years ago, that’s how irrelevant it is. So today, I’m focused on being one percent better”

This morning we were able to present our championship rings to the players and coaches.
We would like to publicly thank the following sponsors for making this possible.

I don’t think the average baseball fan truly understands how insanely difficult it is to foul off a 104 MPH pitch on the corner, then lay off a wipeout slider just off the plate.
Watch this entire at-bat from Jackson Chourio.

🏆 200 CAREER WINS. @GSHSDolphins
A special night for Gulf Shores head coach Mark Hudspeth, who earned career victory No. 200 as the Dolphins defeated Baldwin County 34-0.
But Coach HUD immediately turned the attention away from himself — thanking his players and giving all the glory to God.
And the moment came full circle with his son, Gulf Shores QB Major Hudspeth.
Major was just 5 years old when his dad earned career win No. 100 against Louisiana-Monroe.
Tonight, he was on the field to hand his father the game ball for win No. 200. 🥹🏈
Father. Son. Quarterback. Head coach.
A milestone bigger than football for one of Alabama’s top undefeated teams. 💙
Congratulations to Coach Hudspeth on No. 200! 👏
