Social media is full of “entrepreneurs” selling freedom, independence, and sticking it to “the man.”
It’s mostly nonsense.
Here’s the truth about entrepreneurship that influencers won’t tell you 🧵
𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰, 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞?
I’m in the middle of estate planning for my family right now, and one question that overwhelms me... If something happens to me tomorrow, who knows what exists, where it is, and how to access it?
Investments. Brokerage accounts. Bank accounts. Operating companies. Crypto. Real estate. Precious metals. Liabilities.
A will tells people who gets what. It doesn’t tell them where to find it. That information usually lives in a handful of documents, dozens of logins, and the memory of one person. When that person can’t manage the finances anymore, the family is left scrambling to locate, access, and manage all the finances during the hardest season they’ll ever face.
That’s the problem @cfosilvia SILVIA 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲 solves. I’ve been a power user of Silvia for a while, and this may be the most important feature they’ve built.
Here’s why it matters:
1. It’s consent-based. Nothing gets shared unless you set it up. You stay in control.
2. You choose who. Up to three trusted people: a spouse, an adult child, a parent, your attorney, your executor.
3. You choose what. Share the full picture or only what each person needs.
4. You choose when. You set the timeline. The handoff triggers only if you stop using Silvia for an extended period.
5. It closes the gap your estate documents leave open. Your attorney drafts the plan. Legacy gives your family the starting point to execute it.
6. It’s a gift to the people you love. The most stressful time in their lives won’t be spent searching for accounts they didn’t know existed.
Hope is not a strategy. Neither is “they’ll figure it out.”
Get your plan in order. Then make sure someone can actually find it.
Ownership doesn’t end with you. It ends with a clean handoff.
Introducing Silvia Legacy.
Silvia Legacy is a private, consent-based way to prepare a financial package for trusted people if you stop using Silvia for an extended period.
Important financial information is often spread across accounts, documents, conversations and the memory of one person. That creates a difficult question: if that person can no longer manage the household’s finances, how will the people they trust know what exists and where to begin?
Silvia Legacy helps organize that handoff. It is a consent-based feature for the people you choose.
The Legacy setup allows up to three people. They can be a spouse, partner, child, parent, sibling, grandchild, other family member, friend, attorney, executor or another trusted person.
@cfosilvia Legacy lets you choose what information you share, who you share it with, and what timeline the information will be shared on.
If you care about your loved ones, consider turning on Silvia Legacy today.

Monday morning email to Team NEO...
On January 15, 2009, US Airways Flight 1549 lost power in both engines shortly after leaving New Yorks LaGuardia Airport. Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger and First Officer Jeff Skiles had a few minutes to decide what to do. They couldn't make it back to the airport and because NYC is packed with buildings, there was no place to attempt to land the plane...except for the icy cold waters of the Hudson River. They glided the Airbus down onto the Hudson River, and all 155 people aboard survived.
What I love is what Sully said about it afterward. He pointed out that he had spent roughly forty-two years flying, and that over that time he'd been making small, regular deposits into a bank of experience, training, and learning. On that January afternoon, he said, the balance was enough to make one very large withdrawal.
Nobody applauded him for the thousands of ordinary flights. Nobody gave him credit for the checklists he ran when they felt unnecessary, or the briefings he took seriously when it would have been easy to coast. Those deposits were invisible. Then one day they were the difference between a headline about a tragedy and a headline about a miracle.
I'm convinced it works the same way for us at Neo. Excellence is not an event, but a daily discipline, earned through preparation, consistency, and mutual respect. The prep you do before a call, the product knowledge you keep sharp, the relationship you tend when theres no deal on the table: all of it is a deposit. You wont always see when the withdrawal comes. Just know it will.
This weeks challenge: make three deposits that nobody will ever ask about. Prepare for one call a little deeper than you need to. Learn one thing you've been putting off. Check in with one customer for no reason except the relationship.
Thankful for a team that does the quiet work.
Lets keep building the balance.
Have a safe and productive week!

Today's Remaining Performance Obligations (RPO) metric = the Book to Bill ratio of the late 1990's.
Neither can/should be counted as revenue, much less profits.
Ask Cisco, JDSU, Nortel, Lucent, Ciena, etc. how all of that hype turned out for them.

Our motto:
𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞. 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬.
We stand by this. Records are just the scoreboard. People are the reason.
I am honored and grateful. Grateful for a team that refuses to be average, excellence is the standard. Grateful for customers who trust us with their facilities, there is no better compliment than to earn your trust. Grateful to God for the privilege of working with such an amazing team of people like this.

I explained on Fox Business this morning.
In the days around D-Day in June of 1944, General Dwight Eisenhower was carrying the weight of the largest amphibious invasion in history. Hundreds of thousands of men were committed, the weather had already forced a delay, and nobody could say how it would end. At some point, he scribbled out a short note on a piece of paper, just in case things went wrong.
It was a statement to be released if the landings failed. After describing the decision, he wrote that his choice to attack had been based on the best information available, that the troops had done all that bravery and devotion to duty could do, and then: "If any blame or fault attaches to the attempt it is mine alone."
The invasion held, and the note was never used. It was found afterward among his papers.
What strikes me is the timing. 𝐇𝐞 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐞 𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭. He didn't wait to see how it landed and then decide whose fault it was. He decided in advance that whatever came, it was his.
At 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐄𝐎 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬 (NeoInsulation, 𝐍𝐞𝐨𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, and NeoPower) one of our non-negotiables is a culture of Extreme Ownership. Everything is a choice, and Event plus Response equals Outcome (E+R=O). Ownership is easy to claim after a win. It shows who you are when you commit to it before the outcome is known.
For us, it sounds like this: "I own that pipeline." "I own that follow-up." "I own that I should have called sooner." No qualifiers, and no pointing at manufacturing, the weather, or another team member.
Here's the challenge for this week: on the one deal or commitment that's most at risk, say out loud as the leader, "This one is mine, and here is my plan."
I am super grateful to work alongside people who step up instead of step back.
Let's own this week.
I have a complex insurance situation. I recently asked @cfosilvia about it, providing my policy statement and context.
Silvia didn't just answer my questions...it caught risks and policy language that I wasn't even aware of. The answer was far more in depth and nuanced than I originally thought. Silvia presented the risks and outcomes in a clear and concise manner, allowing me to make the best informed decision.
There is no way I am getting this level of expertise and detail from an insurance agent - particularly on a Sunday.
@cfosilvia is freaking awesome.
Five minute video of the features and benefits of Silvia.com … and it barely scratches the surface with regards to everything this program is capable of.
I have been using Silvia for several months now. I have grown to the point where it becomes part of my daily routine.
If you have any questions about the capabilities of this platform and how I utilize it to manage my small family office… Feel free to message me.

I had the honor of speaking with @APompliano at the Silvia Investors Conference today in NYC.
I was the caboose, closing the day out…and had to follow two Wall Street legends in Ryan Cohen ($GME) and Chris Camillo (Dumb Money - Unknown Market Wizards).
I spoke about my nearly 20 yrs experience as a wealth manager with Wall Street firms and how @cfosilvia is the better option for the individual investor. (5:22:00)
Thanks to @APompliano @shaincodes and the entire Silvia team for putting on a great Day 1 of the Silvia Investors Summit!!

Looking forward to a great line up of speakers, learning more about the great future of Silvia, and Pomp’s book signing party!
Should be a great week!
On a @united flight from OKC to Denver today. Had the Captain come out and address first class before the flight and introduce himself to us. Told us he wants us “to have a face with the voice”. He proceeded to tell us about the flight, the airplane, the weather, the flight attendants, the time en route, etc. for the flight.
Very nice touch. In all my years, never had that happen before.
Well done, sir. Well done.
Most people plan their trading week in their head. I let Silvia do the heavy lifting. @cfosilvia
Every Sunday night I have its RADAR feature run a full scan of my portfolio, and by the time markets open Monday I already know:
– if I've drifted out of balance
– if any position is naked without a stop-loss
- if any stock on my watch list is ready for action
– anything else worth my attention before the week starts
It's the closest thing I've found to an always-on risk manager.
Set the schedule once and it just runs.
What @APompliano and @shaincodes have built is truly impressive.
John Wooden won 10 NCAA basketball championships in 12 years at UCLA, a record nobody has touched...and probably never will.
Every season, on the very first day of practice, before his players touched a basketball, he sat them down and taught them how to put on their socks.
He meant it literally. He showed them how to smooth out every wrinkle, pull the sock snug, double check the heel, then lace their shoes tight from the bottom up. Players who'd been playing organized basketball for a decade thought it was beneath them, until Wooden explained why: a wrinkle in a sock causes a blister. A blister costs you a step. A lost step, in a close game, can cost you a championship.
Excellence was never the two hours of practice for him. It was the two minutes before it that nobody was watching.
I think about that a lot in this business. Nobody sees the estimate you double checked before it went out, or the callback you made at 6pm instead of pushing it to tomorrow, or the truck you inspected even though it looked fine. Those are our socks. Nobody's grading us on them in the moment, but they're the difference between a good week and a great one, and eventually the customer feels it even if they can't name it.
Here's the challenge for this week: pick one small, unglamorous thing in your process, something nobody checks, and do it exactly right, every single time, no exceptions.
Take your time and put your socks on correctly.
