EIGHT MORE MONKEYS. ANOTHER NIH ANIMAL LAB.
New records obtained by White Coat Waste expose an April 2026 shipment of eight monkeys from a taxpayer-funded Wisconsin primate lab to NIH’s Rocky Mountain Laboratories in Montana, infamously known as “Wuhan West.”
WCW has exposed what happens to monkeys inside this lab: maximum-pain experiments involving deadly viruses, including Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever. We also exposed a lab accident in which a worker was exposed to the deadly virus through a monkey bite, as well as an international virus-smuggling scandal involving RML researchers who now face federal criminal charges.
Despite these alarming incidents, NIH continues to operate this animal lab. WCW is fighting back, suing NIH for records about its experiments on monkeys and other animals, as well as the virus-smuggling scandal.
Taxpayers deserve answers about what’s happening behind closed doors at NIH’s dangerous animal labs — and why their money is being used to fund these experiments.

We’ve been fighting to expose Fauci’s taxpayer-funded animal experiments for years.
We introduced the PAAW Act to stop NIH-funded painful and deadly experiments on dogs and cats, demanded answers directly from Fauci, and continue pushing to end this abuse.
We will never stop our fight to protect ALL of God's creatures.
Replying to @RepNancyMace
Stop the torture because that is all it is. Remember Fauci and the Beagles? Never forget.

American tax dollars should never fund the pain and suffering of helpless animals.
Our Preventing Animal Abuse and Waste (PAAW) Act bans the NIH from conducting or funding research causing significant pain or distress to dogs and cats. The bill uses the Department of Agriculture’s own pain and distress scale and bans every study in its two most severe categories.
The American people did not sign up to bankroll animal cruelty.

15 years old. Nearly all of them in a taxpayer-funded laboratory.
Today we’re celebrating Marigold’s 15th birthday. This video shows her “firsts” right after being set free.
Before she had a name, she had a number: #11-245 — tattooed in both ears.
White Coat Waste launched a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) investigation and campaign to expose and close Marigold’s lab. Dr. Fauci’s NIH department paid the Univ. of California, Davis, to abuse kittens. Two-month-old cats were to be locked alone in cages. UC Davis to ram tubes down each kitten’s throat. Force-feed them scrambled mouse brains. All were to be slaughtered.
Your tax bill? $419,000.
But two days after UC Davis received our records request, it CANCELED the experiments! Following our win, UC Davis also shuttered its cat breeding colony and retired the felines… including Marigold.
This is a BFD. For decades, UC Davis maintained this colony. It supplied kittens for the nation’s worst experiments. Like NIH’s electro-shock tests at UC Irvine, the Smithsonian, and even the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs.
From FOIA to FREEDOM, you saved Marigold’s life. Thank you! She went from lab cat to lap cat — and was adopted by our founder, Anthony Bellotti.
White Coat Waste is the nation’s MOST EFFECTIVE organization getting animals out of labs — and the ONLY group to shut down federal feline labs in over forty years.

Happy #GlobalCatDay from RFK!
Nicole Kleinstreuer — RFK’s “animal testing czar” — publicly promised to phase out experiments on cats. Since that promise, NIH gave the University of Minnesota’s cat laboratory a new grant worth up to $2.4M.
60 kittens — some just two months old — will have holes drilled into their skulls. Some will have strokes deliberately induced. All will be killed.

Federal reporting for fiscal year 2025 showed more than 12,600 cats trapped in laboratories across the country. White Coat Waste is on a mission to expose and close the U.S. animal testing business for good.

📰 TAXPAYER-FUNDED CAT PIPELINE EXPOSES ANIMAL DEALER THAT SUPPLIED ANIMALS FOR COVID AND VIRUS EXPERIMENTS AT CORNELL AND COLORADO STATE
Oct. 3, 2026
By Cassandra MacDonald, The Gateway Pundit
"A little-known lab animal dealer has been quietly feeding cats into taxpayer-funded virus experiments at major universities, according to records obtained by the watchdog White Coat Waste.
White Coat Waste’s latest investigation identifies Clinvet as a Class B dealer and research facility with ties to Marshall BioResources, one of the country’s largest commercial breeders of dogs and cats for laboratories.
Shipping and donation records show Clinvet has supplied cats that ended up in COVID and feline immunodeficiency virus studies paid for by the National Institutes of Health and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
At Cornell University, Clinvet donated cats for experiments in which researchers infected healthy animals with COVID, isolated them, and monitored them as they became sick.
Some cats used as controls were killed without ever being infected.
White Coat Waste says nearly $1.6 million was sub-awarded to Cornell from a National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases grant for the work.
A separate $650,000 USDA grant for the same experiments was extended in May 2026 and now runs through May 2027.
New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets records obtained through an open records request show Clinvet transferred 45 cats to Colorado State University in May 2026.
CSU maintains a breeding colony authorized to hold up to 120 cats for up to three years.
The university’s protocol allows experimenters to surgically remove fetuses from pregnant cats and kill them for diagnostic assays. Mothers can be put through the procedure up to three times, with six months between surgeries. Kittens from the colony can be shipped to outside labs.
Between 2021 and 2023, CSU sold or transferred 45 cats to Oklahoma State University and Redbeast Enterprises and collected at least $22,960.
White Coat Waste matched names and microchip numbers in those records to an NIH-funded journal article.
Cats identified as Matcha, Morgan, Dolores, Juliet, and Pierce were among the animals infected with FIV, inoculated with COVID, killed, and dissected.
A separate NIAID-funded project at CSU, totaling $406,846, infected cats with viruses and then killed and dissected them.
The findings come after White Coat Waste released its 'MAHA Betrayed' review, which documented more than $225 million in new NIH funding for dog and cat experiments awarded, supplemented, renewed, or extended since last February.
The Gateway Pundit reported on that tally last month in coverage of an FDA purchase order for young baboons.
Earlier Gateway Pundit reporting also detailed NIH’s quiet continuation of Fauci-era kitten experiments at its Bethesda campus and House Republican efforts, backed by White Coat Waste, to cut funding for painful dog and cat tests.
Clinvet is not as well-known as Marshall BioResources, Ridglan Farms, or the now-shuttered Envigo beagle operation.
Smaller Class B dealers and university breeding colonies keep the supply chain moving even as larger mills face scrutiny and as agency officials talk about shifting away from animal tests.
The Cornell COVID cats were the subject of an earlier White Coat Waste investigation linked to Fauci-era NIAID funding.
Anthony Bellotti, President and Founder of White Coat Waste, told The Gateway Pundit in a statement:
'White Coat Waste was the first to expose Dr. Fauci’s ‘pet-to-pain’ pipeline at puppy mills Ridglan Farms, Oak Hill Genetics, Envigo, and Marshall BioResources. Now, our first-of-its-kind investigation has exposed Clinvet— a key supplier of cats to Fauci-era labs that the USDA and NIH support.Inexplicably, legacy animal rights groups like PETA and PCRM still cheerlead for NIH Deputy Director Nicole Kleinstreuer — RFK’s ‘animal testing czar’ — even as she refuses to shut down this pipeline. Under her watch, NIH approved more than $225 million in new funding for dog and cat experiments, despite Kleinstreuer’s false claim that the spending predates her.'
'White Coat Waste is leading the fight to end the U.S. government’s cat-a-strophic waste and defund pet profiteers like Clinvet. The solution is simple: Stop the Money. Stop the Madness!'"

📰 NIH Continues Pouring More Than $225 Million Into New Dog and Cat Experiments Despite Trump Admin Efforts to Shift Toward Modern Alternatives
By Cassandra MacDonald, Gateway Pundit
“A bombshell White Coat Waste investigation released this week documents more than $225 million in new National Institutes of Health funding for dog and cat experiments awarded, supplemented, renewed, or extended since February 2025.
The total includes new grants and contracts, additional discretionary money for existing awards, and project extensions that keep taxpayer-funded laboratories running.
By June, White Coat Waste had identified more than $150 million, and by early September the figure had jumped to more than $225 million, a roughly 50 percent increase.
Nearly 44 percent of the identified spending, more than $98 million, went to pharmaceutical companies conducting dog tests. Another $11.7 million supported invasive cat experiments.
That $225 million-plus exceeds the NIH’s highly publicized $150 million investment in non-animal methods, or new approach methodologies, by more than $75 million.
…
Records show a new grant of up to $2.4 million to the University of Minnesota for experiments on 60 kittens as young as two months old that include drilling holes in their skulls, injecting viruses into their brains, inducing strokes, and killing them.
A $439,016 award went to the University of Wisconsin-Madison to maintain a colony breeding nearly 300 kittens with glaucoma, some of which are killed before they are one day old so their eyes can be dissected.
Vanderbilt University received approximately $3.9 million, including a new five-year grant approved in February 2026, for glucose experiments that put dogs on high-fat, high-fructose diets to induce obesity, diabetes, and liver failure before inserting catheters and harvesting tissue.
Roughly $2 million flowed to the University of Utah for heart studies that tie off arteries, implant pacemakers and electrodes, deliver electric shocks and radiation, then harvest the dogs’ hearts.
An additional $1.9 million went to a University of Missouri laboratory that infests beagles with ticks.
Temple University received $305,627 to sever cats’ spinal cords and force them to walk on treadmills.
A new $7.2 million contract supports a University of North Carolina colony breeding puppies with bleeding disorders.
Syntis Bio got $916,400 to force-feed experimental weight-loss drugs to beagles.
Dozens of Small Business Innovation Research awards totaling tens of millions more pay pharmaceutical firms to run investigational new drug studies on dogs for conditions ranging from cancer and ALS to opioid-use disorder.
NIH officials, including Fauci-fan girl Deputy Director Nicole Kleinstreuer, have said they are working to phase out certain animal tests and that much of the activity predates the current administration. White Coat Waste notes that while some projects began earlier, the agency retained full discretion over whether to issue new awards, add discretionary funds, renew grants, or extend contracts after February 2025.
Those decisions continued.
White Coat Waste, which previously forced the cancellation of nearly $2 million in planned Fauci-era beagle experiments in 2022, argues that a genuine phase-out requires an immediate halt to new dog-and-cat grants and contracts, a ban on supplements and extensions, and an enforceable deadline with measurable spending cuts rather than press releases about future intentions.”

🇺🇸🇷🇺 RFK Jr.'s health department sent nearly $800,000 to a Russian research project reportedly linked to the Siberian lab behind the plague scare.
And what were taxpayers paying for? Fox research.
NIH gave the University of Illinois 2 grants, last July and this September, for a study run with Russia's state-run Institute of Cytology and Genetics, which has spent decades breeding foxes to see how tame they can get.
The institute has reportedly worked with the Irkutsk anti-plague lab before, the same lab whose worker died last week after allegedly breaking a test tube of live bacteria.
The foxes are raised and killed in Siberia, then samples get shipped to Illinois.
Watchdog group White Coat Waste says Biden banned U.S. funding for animal testing in Russia back in 2022, but the money kept flowing.
Neither NIH nor HHS has responded to requests for comment.

🚨BREAKING: RFK is funding an NIH grant with a Siberian plague lab collaborator.
- A new White Coat Waste (WCW) investigation exposes $779,689 in new NIH funding under Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for an animal experimentation collaboration with a Russian lab that has conducted plague research with the Siberian facility at the center of a deadly lab leak controversy.
- Federal spending records and documents exclusively obtained by WCW show how, as recently as September 2026, RFK’s NIH renewed funding for University of Illinois animal experiments conducted in cooperation with Russia’s Institute of Cytology and Genetics (ICG) in Siberia.
- Records show the state-run ICG has specifically collaborated on plague research with the now-infamous Irkutsk Anti-Plague Institute, where a lab worker’s recent death has sparked concerns of another lab leak and cover-up.
- RFK’s NIH has twice renewed taxpayer funding for this collaboration with a Siberian animal lab — even after the Biden administration cut off research collaborations with Russia following a WCW investigation in 2022.
- WCW was the very first to expose how Dr. Fauci funded the Wuhan lab in 2020, and the first to show how NIH continued to fund and cover-up dangerous virus experiments at the Rocky Mountain Laboratory, along with other setbacks for animals under RFK.
