The only fear I have with this whole processed live vocal talk is that the barrier of entry for vtubing skyrockets even further like it did with the whole youtaite/vsinging/chorus battle scene, and that it intimidates people from ever giving it a shot I’m all for wanting broadcast-quality audio; my audio setup has been like that since 2023 when I started implementing a voicemeeter + reaper combo But just know that it’s okay to not have these things right from the get-go. So what if you have a $30 USB mic? So what if you don’t know how to mix? If you like doing karaoke streams but don’t have the best gear or setup, then rawdog that shit and let your singing shine through, unadulterated (within reason, of course, you’d still wanna avoid clipping and damaging your audience’s eardrums) Fancier setups like these is something you can always build towards as long as you have the passion for what you do and patience to learn how to step up your game
