It’ll take a group effort for OKC to replace Jalen Williams’ production.
Here are five guys in particular who’ll need to step up:

“I just feel bad for him.”
Paycom Center didn’t play its usual victory anthem after OKC’s win over the LA Clippers. It didn’t feel right, considering the tremendous loss the Thunder had just experienced.
On the emotions of Jalen Williams’ latest injury:

I sat down with Jalen Williams this summer to talk about the mental side of overcoming setbacks.
The maturity he has shown in the face of adversity is impressive, and he’ll surely do so again with this new injury.

Asked Alex Caruso how Jalen Williams has overcome setbacks in the past:
“Dub is a resilient human being. He has great parents. He comes from a great family of hard work, love and putting your best foot forward at all times. The couple of years I’ve been here, getting to know his mom and dad, they raised their children right. Those characteristics and qualities are instilled in him as a person. And, at a certain point, you can’t be a victim anymore. You have to take the adversity head-on, and you’ve got to fight back. He’s continued to do that, and I know he’ll continue to do it moving forward.”
Jalen Williams has overcome setbacks in the past. I asked Shai Gilgeous-Alexander what it is about his spirit that allows him to do so:
“He just loves playing. He loves the competition. That’s who he is. I have no doubt in my mind that he’ll be back and be better than he was before, just like how he handled the last couple of injuries. It’s unfortunate, his luck so far, but he’s equipped for it. He’s a warrior.”
Mark Daigneault on how the team will process Jalen Williams’ injury:
“I think it starts with just getting everybody and regrouping in a situation like that, especially when it’s ugly like that, which is what we’ll focus on first before we move on to anything else. We’ll come in tomorrow, we’ll get everybody together and we’ll have more information for the team at that time. I know they’ll be hungry to know how he’s doing and stuff like that, and then we’ll move from there. But, at this point, you’ve just got to allow yourself to feel the way you do.”
Asked Mark Daigneault about the support from everyone inside Paycom Center following Jalen Williams’ injury tonight:
“No matter what, I think anybody in the arena can empathize with that. We appreciate our fans for doing so. We appreciate the Clippers for doing so.”
Mark Daigneault on Jalen Williams’ injury tonight:
“Those are tough, man. We’re not doing great. That’s tough on the guys. Everyone empathizes, I think both teams, in those situations. We’re not doing great.”
Final: Thunder 108, Clippers 101
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: 34 points and 6 boards
Ajay Mitchell: 18 points and 6 boards
Isaiah Hartenstein: 12 points and 12 boards
It's hard for anyone inside Paycom Center to celebrate right now. Everyone's thoughts are with Jalen Williams.
Jalen Williams just gave two thumbs up while being stretchered off the court. The Paycom Center crowd chanted "J Dub" to show its support. Certainly wishing the best for him. What a scary play.
We've gotten a Playoff Caruso appearance in October.
Alex Caruso just stole the ball and found Jalen Williams on the other end for an easy dunk. That gave OKC a 101-96 lead with 2:15 left in the game.
