Networking is underrated in business. I randomly had a conversation with a team captain who ordered 50 jerseys for his two teams.

Soccer positions ranked by how much the person is enjoying their life: 1. Striker 2. Winger 3. Centre back 4. Midfielder 5. Full back 6. Goalkeeper 7. Whoever agreed to go in goal "just for this half"

Close offside calls are soccer's version of the gold dress / blue dress argument.

Someone asked what I do for fun. I design soccer jerseys. Someone asked what I do for a living. I design soccer jerseys.

Me: “I’m buying the jersey as a collectible.” Also me: wears it three times in the first week.

That’s because the shirt isn’t really about the team. It’s about Venice: the colours, the look, the city. You can buy into a place without caring where it sits in the table. The league position tells you how the season is going. The identity is why people wear the shirt.
