ALT Circe was surrounded by mirrors. Thousands of shining glass mirrors, all of different size, make, and material, floated around her, suspended in an inky void. A gust of wind roared through the chamber, causing the mirrors to shake. Circe wrapped her arms around herself, shivering from the freezing gust. When the wind finally subsided, Circe dared to speak: "Hello?" Her voice sounded...different. Melodic. Each syllable was pulled out of her like notes drawn from the strings of a violin, lingering with a soft wail. Almost in response, the mirrors around her let out small and sharp sounds, not unlike tapping a crystal glass with a spoon. Circe twirled around, seeing her half-curious, half-frightened expression reflected back at her a million times over. "Is anyone there?"
