5:06 PM CDT 10/29/2026 - As I always preface when showing rainfall total predictions, *****focus more on the overall pattern rather than the specific number popping up over your location!***** The heaviest rain looks to fall over southern and southeastern locations over the next 24-36 hours. 'Lighter' totals look to remain over northwestern areas! All in all, most locations have a decent shot of seeing 1" of rainfall! Totals of 1-3" will be more isolated, with VERY few areas seeing over 3" of rainfall. Depending on where the exact storms track, we could see a pretty steep difference in rainfall totals over a short distance. Overall, meaningful moisture is expected for near all of the 30-County #KLBK Forecast Area this evening through Friday evening! I can't wait to see how much everyone gets! #TXwx #NMwx #SPwx #Lubbock
