Thanks for representing the #GrahamCenter at #FMAS2024, @AHuffstetler! We love sharing critical research about family medicine, and our 2024 primary care scorecard is an important way to track and measure the state of the primary care workforce.
How do we bolster the primary care workforce? @TheGrahamCenter’s @AHuffstetler takes the #FMAS2024 stage to talk about the new primary care scorecard. P.S. - did you know it’s the RGC’s 25th anniversary? 🎉graham-center.org/publicatio…

I am a fan of disruption and innovation, but primary care struggles because we fail as a country to invest in primary care - plain and simple. And, to make it worse, we ask primary care to fix all the other problems we create by underfunding other programs.

The @aafp supports the #REDIAct, which allows medical residents to defer their federal student loan interest during their residency. This will save physicians a significant amount of money in interest they would otherwise accrue and pay back. thehill.com/opinion/healthca…

We are heartened by the @FTC's decision today banning noncompete clauses. These employment arrangements are detrimental to the long-term, ongoing relationship family physicians form with their patients and communities. We are analyzing the decision to fully understand the impact on our members. The #AAFP shared the #familymedicine perspective with the FTC: bit.ly/3UaSnI3
We applaud @FTC’s final rule banning physician #noncompete clauses which often harm patients and break continuity of care. This rule will bolster competition and create healthy work environments for physicians while improving access for patients. bit.ly/3UaSnI3
