47% of @ToshiBet depositors have also deposited at other crypto casinos almost every second wallet. that's fucking crazy stake, roobet, rainbet, duel, shuffle... they're all in the mix been digging into toshi's onchain activity with @AsafNadler from @addressableid, and we found some pretty interesting stuff we analyzed 1000 depositing wallets: - 47% had deposited at competing casinos - 209 wallets also deposited at stake, 171 at roobet - those wallets deposited $10m+ at EACH of those casinos historically - 31 wallets with $10k+ in competitor deposits were still active at rival casinos in the last 7 days - 13 wallets had deposited over $1m elsewhere and now i'm starting to question how much casino loyalty is actually worth think about it operators spend millions on VIP programs, cashback, bonuses, streamer deals, trying to keep players loyal meanwhile their players are casually depositing at 3-5 other casinos, probably checking who's offering the best deal this week lol years ago, seeing almost half your players at competing casinos would've sounded insane now you can sign up somewhere else in minutes, move your crypto and start playing and every casino is fighting for the same wallets i've been talking about smaller crypto casinos shutting down recently, and i think chasing loyalty without knowing where else your players gamble is one hell of a way to burn through your budget

crypto casinos are shutting down while everyone keeps launching another stake clone @luckio is gone. @XTPcom, @betstrike, casinostriker stopped operating too and many others remember @luckio paying influencers up to $500k/month, $1.2b in lifetime wagers. still shut down i've been talking to founders of smaller casinos that didn't survive, and one of them told me, "we were following the big platforms, but didn't have their budgets. streamer marketing doesn't work when you can't afford to compete" and i think he's right you can spend a shitload on streamers and get some traffic, but you're competing against platforms that already have years of reputation, loyal players and way more operational experience why would anyone switch? i think we're heading towards 2 types of crypto casinos that can actually survive 1. freak brands like duel crazy marketing, founder-led content, mascots, memes. people talk about them even when they're not gambling 2. platforms building something of their own in-house tech, original games, unique mechanics. actual reasons to choose them over another casino everyone stuck somewhere in the middle is gonna have a hard time btw, this is exactly why at @verifluence we focus on smaller creators with real audiences instead of chasing the biggest streamers. smaller operators need ways to test acquisition without burning their entire budget curious what founders think
