One of the things that was so cool about Patrick Stewart was, regardless of his overall experience, he never took himself too seriously or think a role was beneath him.

This was one of the best written scenes in the entire series. Absolutely brilliant!
Sometimes, people are so overwhelmed by their present circumstances that they struggle to imagine a future beyond their pain.

I can’t blame Seth MacFarlane, if I had a show I’d try to get Patrick Stewart on it as much as possible, but it’s wild that they did the same exact joke with him three times.

"Why did you ever need cocaine? You're as fast without it as any addict," Ray Martin asked. Robin Williams paused, his hyperactive mask slipping into a quiet reality. "It allowed me not to talk," Williams confessed. "It was like reverse medication. It just shuts you down so you don't have to talk to people." The world assumed he used drugs to fuel his legendary speed. The heartbreaking truth was the opposite: his mind ran at such a brutal pace that he used a deadly substance just to force his own brain to shut up. "How vividly can you remember falling into the trap?" "I don't," Williams admitted. "There’s a thing called a blackout. It's your conscience going into a witness protection program saying: 'I'm checking out. I'm leaving the body on, but we're not going to remember anything.'" Enduring reality as Robin Williams was simply too painful to bear while fully conscious. "And John Belushi's death... was that a shock?" "Totally. But more importantly, my son," Williams said softly. "I didn't want to be coked up going, 'Hey, dad loves you.' I stopped because I realized you have a responsibility bigger than yourself." For a moment, love pulled him back from the edge. But years later, when the noise inside his mind became deafening, Robin Williams took his own life. We live in a culture that treats hyper-energetic creators as entertainment machines, demanding they stay turned on for our amusement. Robin Williams exposed the quiet tragedy behind the applause. The loudest person in the room is often fighting the most exhausting internal war. Real empathy isn't demanding someone keep performing for you - it's noticing when their soul is trying to check out, even while they make you laugh.

Michael Fassbender (The younger Magneto) on the passing of Sir Patrick Stewart “Patrick Stewart was more than a remarkable actor; he was a true gentleman and an extraordinary talent. Working alongside him was a privilege I will always treasure. His presence, wisdom, and dedication to his craft inspired generations of actors, myself included. He brought depth and humanity to every character he portrayed, and his legacy will live far beyond the screen. The world has lost a legend, but his work will never be forgotten. Rest peacefully, Patrick. It was an honour to share this journey with you.”

James McAvoy on the demise of Sir Patrick Stewart. “Sir Patrick Stewart will always be the definitive Professor X to generations of fans, but to me, he is so much more than that. He is a legend, a mentor, and an extraordinary actor whose presence elevated everyone around him. Stepping into a role he made iconic was never about replacing him; it was about honoring the legacy he built. I will forever be grateful for the path he paved, both on screen and beyond it. There will never be another Patrick Stewart.” — James McAvoy
