Anytime you doubt yourself, remember there's a misogynistic mediocre cis-hetero man comfortable with their sharing their unwanted opinions out loud on a regular basis.
Your opinions and thoughts are informed and necessary. Shake the table sis.

When I danced for the Atlanta Hawks, we got paid $65 a game. When I was an Atlanta Falcons Cheerleader, we got $75 a game. Keep in mind we had to be there at 8am + didn’t leave til after 5. We did promos + fan pix before the game and danced the whole thing. Basically $8 an hour.
As someone who has was paid $25 a game dancing for the Chicago Bulls, I love this.
Cheerleaders and dancers bring a lot of entrainment value to events, and it’s about time they’re not only appreciated, but paid!

Does this way of relating align with the direction I am headed in? If so that might mean it’s time for an uncomfortable conversation.
If not, we can honor the encounter while also being clear that closing this door is what makes space for what actually wants to show up.

When you’re in a growth period and people show up who represent repetitive old cycles, peak patterns or ways of being that you are clearly working on, this doesn’t mean reinvest in the relationship. It means evaluate what is changing.

Sending love to everyone exhausted from having to continually metabolize polarizing language, human violations, and social and political events that should never become normal, laughed off, dismissed, or downplayed.

Even now, in these times, your life and future are full of purpose, potential, and meaning. Remember who you are.

This is a reminder that positive change and transformation may feel disorienting, uncomfortable, unpredictable, and messy at times, and may seem to lack clarity, security, or direction. This deep process can tempt us to doubt our expansion and better reality, yet it is the very bridge and tunnel we are called to cross to meet a new, higher, aligned reality. Do not cave in or revert. This is not the time or place. Keep believing in the timeline where you overcome it all.
