Voted Friday with my daughter at the top of my mind. She passed away on Christmas Eve 2022 to fentanyl. People think voting doesn't matter, it does. My wife and I have been happy to see the positive change on this issue and hope it continues with whatever and whoever is in office. Just wanted to be a voice to encourage fence sitters who are wanting to sit out to reconsider! ✌️

What on earth do people like you expect? A riot? It's WISCONSIN. The Midwest...the nicest people in the USA in a, as you said, SMALL MARKET TOWN. Good grief!
Radio broadcasting baseball (or any sport) is an art form. I had my daughter listen to a @royals game while driving this summer and we talked about how strategic the announcers were with painting images for the listener. Also timing the silence perfectly to allow the ambient sound of the field come thru. It's a magnificent art form that I hope NEVER goes the way of Kodak and Blockbuster. #mlb #royals #baseball
@DavidPSamson says MLB no longer needs radio: "We don't need baseball on radio anymore." The former Marlins president predicts on Nothing Personal that "radio will go the way of Kodak and Blockbuster." @JohnMamola has more. #MLB

I met a man at Oak Park Mall while visiting the Lids store. I was talking to Joseph (who is one of the best staffers there) when in walks this man in a T-shirt that said on the front and back "Need Prayer? Tap my shoulder". I told him I loved his shirt. He turned around to me and said, "thank you son, is there anything I can pray for you?" I told him there's always something, but let me just ask you to pray for me and my family this season.
I told him the story of Maelee and how we are in the midst of the hardest season of our family as we grieve our loss when she died on Christmas Eve 2022. Addie's birthday coming on 11/21, Maelee's birthday on 12/13 and the memories of 9/22-12/22. Neil asked for the names of Addie, Carys and Layla then he asked if he could pray for us. I said absolutely. And right there in Lids, Neil put his arm around me and I put mine around his and he prayed for us. He began to weep for our family when he prayed for the girls. I thanked him and asked if he wouldn't mind if I took a picture with him to share. He said yes and then asked if he could do the same...:after I showed him how to turn his camera on the screen to take a selfie.
If you ever see Neil at Oak Park Mall, tap his shoulder and let him pray for you and tell him Ben from Lids shared his ministry with you all! Thank you Neil!!! God is good, and the Holy Spirit is real friends!
New hat at the KC @lids today! Apparently my membership provided me with $25 off my purchase. Love that Kauffman Stadium patch! #royals #basebaplhat #lids #newera
