BREAKING: In a stunning moment, Congresswoman Elaine Luria, who is one of the most reserved and moderate members of Congress, just made clear that Pete Hegseth is not going to be the Secretary of Defense for much longer. This is amazing.

If you’ve ever read anything about malignant narcissism, you’d find nothing surprising in Trump's appointment of Stephen Miller as White House chief of staff. It’s just a logical progression in the arc of an unboundedly destructive psyche.

Congress has the power to hold Trump and his cronies accountable for ripping you off to make themselves richer.
I'm looking at you – Big Tech CEOs, Wall Street executives, and giant corporations.
If you break the law, there will be consequences.

I see Hegseth’s trending, just a reminder that when he ran 2 Vets organizations he spent all their cash on lavish parties & bar tabs leaving organizations in debt before being forced out and became alcoholic, sexual predator Fox News host. This was BEFORE he was criminal Sec Def.

I'll admit racism is a helluva drug. I was a Detroit firefighter for 34 years. I watched a lot of guys I've worked with for decades expose themselves as racists when Obama became the president.
Yet, there are some people that I really like and possibly considered friends, change in front of me.
Recently, a DFD colleague exposed himself in a post after Abdul El-Sayed won here in Michigan.
He explained why he thought that Muslims and foreign born citizens weren't good for America and should never hold political office.
I never expected this from this guy because we were always on a good, friendly basis. I'd even call him a friend. I really respected him. Hell, he even had a black girlfriend/fiance for years.
So, this is a whole lot of disappointing for me.
I thought he was different. Then he posted this hateful post.
I'm sure he doesn't give a F*ck about me saying this or being disappointed.
We must remember that racists can only hide for so long before they reveal to you who they really are.
Some disappointments don't come easy.

End the illegal war in Iran.
19 American troops dead.
Thousands of innocent people killed.
Tens of billions of taxpayer dollars wasted.
Gas and diesel prices skyrocketing.
On Tuesday, the American people sent a clear message.
Democrats must DEFUND this horrific war.

With Democrats in power, we need to end family detention. Until then, we need to do everything we can to rein in ICE and stop traumatizing kids and families.
I called ICE this morning to demand they restore video calls at the Dilley Trailer Prison. I’ve seen mothers of babies and young children who haven’t seen their kids' faces in months. It’s wrong.

So with Stephen Miller, Trump has officially moved into the Bunker Stage of his Reich
Dear @WhiteHouse: trump’s name will never be on the Kennedy Center or the Reflecting Pool.
The trump arch will not be built.
And in two years, Congress and the next Administration will erase trump’s name and stench from everything he has touched.

There is much to celebrate this week, but I want to call specific attention to historic gains Democratic women made in representation:
- For the first time in history, over 100 Democratic women will serve in the U.S. House.
- At least 16 Democratic women will serve in the Senate.
- At least 14 Democratic women will serve as governors, a record high.
- A record of 2,600 Democratic women running for seats in state legislatures helped flip 12 majorities and break 11 supermajorities.
- Four states elected their first woman governor: Georgia, Minnesota, Ohio, and Tennessee.
- @KeishaBottoms will be the first Black woman to serve as a governor.
- @DebHaalandNM will be the first Native American woman to serve as a governor.
- @GinaHinojosaTX will be the first Latina to serve as governor of Texas.
- @peggyflanagan will be the first Native American woman to serve in the Senate.
I am beyond excited to see these extraordinary people and public servants tackle accountability, affordability, and our other challenges to make life better for everyone in this country.
Congratulations to everyone who ran: win or lose, fighting for what's right is always worth it.

I’ve known many other defense secretaries, starting with Cap Weinberger, who served as defense secretary under Reagan.
I can say without fear of contradiction that Pete Hegseth is the stupidest and least qualified of them all.
He is a danger to the entire world.
He must be impeached.

Civil rights icon Andrew Young was moved to TEARS reflecting on Keisha Lance Bottoms’ historic election as the nation's first Black woman governor! He said the victory belongs to the women who risked their lives marching for equality. Their sacrifices paved the way for HISTORY!
