Just watched Nolan’s #TheOdyssey . If you are planning to watch but dont know anything about the story, Here’s a 5-min Homework you can do so you are not lost..
Note: If you’ve seen the movie Troy (2004) or know the basic Trojan War story, you’re 80% there. Because this story picks up right after Troy falls.
Backstory:
Helen, considered one of the beautiful woman in the world, is married to a Spartan king named Menelaus. A Trojan prince named “Paris” comes and takes her away (Another version says she runs away with him)
Menelaus is furious, calls in every Greek king who owes him a favor, and one of those kings is Odysseus, ruler of a small island called Ithaca.
Odysseus doesn’t even want to go as he’s got a newborn son and a wife back home but he’s bound by an old oath, so he leaves anyway. That’s why he’s at war in the first place. Its not his war.
The war drags on for years until Odysseus, the smartest guy of all, comes up with the Trojan horse tactic and ends it in one night. Troy falls and the greeks start to sail back home
That’s where The Odyssey actually begins. The setbacks and events he faces on the way back is the story.
Now, the people you need to know:

#DeepawaliAnushtanaVidhi 🪔
🪔A rare guide to celebrate Deepawali the right way 🪔
🚩Veda Ghosham is indeed stirring 🌀 up a revolution in Anushtana Marga🧘🏻♂️🧘🏻♀️ (Most part of Vedas📙 which speak of action oriented rituals ) by decoding ancient manuscripts 📜conceived by Rishis, translating them in current languages, with simple instructions of what to do during Deepawali.🪔
Our newly launched book 📕on Deepawali Anushtana Vidhanam, (no where such publication exists in the world in modern language), we have taken charge👍🏼 to train people to do simple Vedic rituals by themselves, which is what our ancients did. 🧘🏻♂️🧘🏻♀️
Like the Kohinoor Diamond 💎 is the only one in the world, our Deepawali book the unique 📘 and shines with the effulgence of simple to read mantras by our Rishis for celebrating Deepawali 🪔
Our shishyas did pooja for the first books at temple and then we opened for orders which are flowing in.
Buy it -> Practice it -> Gift it -> Spread it -> Action it -> Speak it -> Do it -> Talk or -> Send it ->>> Click it -> Order it ->

A report says hate posts against Indians on X tripled in volume in 2025 and got over 300 million views.
Now look at this teenager in the US who is accused of planning an attack on a Hindu temple on the first day of Navratri. Prosecutors say his manifesto called Indians and Jews subhuman.
Where did he picked it up? By hearing it again and again until it got normalised That is how a narrative works. Say something often enough and it becomes truth.
Every false claim about us has to be answered calmly, with facts, every single time. If we do not break this pattern now, think about the next generation. What will the world they grow up in believe about Indians? What will our own kids hear about themselves?
Very concerning!!!

Evil scientist alert! Somebody is laying the groundwork for killing penguins. Somebody said that about elephants in South Africa that led to killing hundreds of elephants.

Hannah Ellis Petersen is the South Asia correspondent of The Guardian. Her reports on India get picked up by other newspapers, universities and think tanks abroad. So what she writes shapes how the world sees us. Here is what her work actually says.
1. During the Kumbh Mela, she called Hindu pilgrims "covid superspreaders". Crores of people came for a religious festival, and the headline made them the problem.
2. When the Supreme Court gave its verdict on Ram Mandir, she wrote about it as "thousands of mosques being disputed" while Hindu nationalists "rewrite India's history". A court verdict after decades turned into a warning story.
3. On CAA, the law gives a faster route to citizenship for Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis and Christians who fled religious persecution in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. She described it through the "toxic masculinity" of Modi's politics.
Now she is covering the Cockroach Janata Party protest in Delhi, and again the protest gets the friendly treatment while the government gets the suspicious one.
Look at all of this together. Every story points the same way.
The Hindus facing violence in Bangladesh, and the welfare and digital payments that actually reach people in our villages, hardly get a mention.
If an Indian reporter covered Britain this way, would the Guardian call that reporting? Or would they call it an agenda?
A news outlet should report, not decide the story first.
Hearty congratulations sir @kirandotc

Watching Elon Musk this week has been a fascinating character study in the saviour complex of Western tech billionaires.
They arrive in your country selling you the future. Welcome them, and you’re a country that wants progress. Make them wait, and suddenly your people are victims who need rescuing from their own institutions by the chosen one.
It’s a pattern. When Thai rescuers didn’t use the mini-submarine Musk sent for the trapped boys, and diver Vernon Unsworth called the idea impractical, Musk attacked him as the “pedo guy.”
When Brazil’s Supreme Court ordered X to comply with its rulings, Musk called the judge a “dictator.”
The script rarely changes. Only the country does.
The colonial mindset isn’t always about wanting to rule a country. Sometimes it’s the assumption that you arrive as its saviour, and if the country doesn’t immediately recognise you as one, something must be wrong with the country.

Woah!
Mr. Musk, yes, no billionaire should dictate a nation’s policy - Indian or American.
India must welcome competition in satellite internet, from Indian and global providers, whoever offers the most practical and affordable last-mile solution for those in remote regions. In countries with lower per-capita incomes, satellite internet must be affordable too. High subscription fees and equipment costs risk putting it beyond the reach of ordinary households. Connectivity must bridge the digital divide, not create a new one.
India knows our networks and spectrum are strategic infrastructure, not merely commercial assets. India’s national security safeguards are non-negotiable.
Every country makes choices based on its own interests. Those in the West cannot preach free markets while practicing protectionism at home. USA imposed 100% tariffs on Chinese EVs to protect its domestic industry, just as India takes measures to protect its own domestic manufacturers. Both India and the US have restricted Huawei over security concerns. One cannot demand a level playing field from others only when it suits its own agenda.
Indians will internally debate, question and address our strengths and shortcomings as a democratic country.
Take BharatNet, India’s programme to bring broadband to village-level local bodies. We will question why, as the CAG’s 2026 audit report found, the programme is struggling to meet its original objectives. Why were only 33.2% of service-ready Gram Panchayats operational, despite ₹39,888 crore being spent? At the same time, we know to appreciate our telecom sector and regulations, which has made internet data among the world’s most affordable, bringing millions online.
India is a democracy, not a colony. We welcome the world, but we, the Indian people, will decide our own future - not Western vested interests, their double standards or any billionaire - Indian or American.
