Goon 'o clock
In recovery room post-procedure. RHC pressures are the best they've ever been since diagnosis.
We DO NOT have to go back to pump anytime soon. We are going to continue inhalant until some time next year. In several months, a new prostacyclin analogue is supposed to be available that is a 1x daily. Incredible.
I've been cleared to get back on Sotatercept treatment too.
GOD IS GOOD.
Doctor continues to brag and celebrate my story. Saying there's no one doing what I'm doing with this disease. We press on!

In Dallas next couple of days for a slew of appts.
Obligatory selfie.
Hoping for better news than my last visit a couple weeks ago.
Damn. The @DeadbyDaylight community may actually be softer than the Destiny community.
New mile and 5K PR this morning. Hyped on it.
Perfect precursor to a week of health traveling. Next race 11/14 and will be my first 10K.
Hoping for positive results this week following the positive results of this morning's race.
❤️💪
My twitter timeline is filled with progress and time moves so fast. VOD we are watching is the day I returned from pump install April 2025 vs direct comparison today.
All the loose skin is a bummer but a badge too.
Ain't stopping.
Started Accutane today.
I'm told it gets pretty gnarly early treatment but outcome is worth.
No tattoo work for 5months sucks. And I'll lose my nice runner tan but I'm ready to be done with the acne forever.
Any friends gone through this treatment? Any moisturizer advice?
Am a bit sad
I'm starting to see the returning symptoms of having to forego treatment. My lungs are detoriating again and my heart is having to work a lot harder.
Annoying. Still hitting races and I need to keep in mind that I was using a cane less than a year ago. But it def hurts my ego.
No PR today.

Catching up on all this. On vacation with the wife and son.
So here’s where I am. GCX was an event built on community. From my perspective this looks like we got investment and changed our tone. That will not fly from my end.
@kevinxvision has set up a meeting on Monday to speak with artists (he’s been out of town all week) to come to a solution while also investigating why the fuck a valued member of our community felt slighted.
I’m not even sure where when or how this shift happened. I’m not even in a place to make an executive decision. But I will be an absolute thorn until our community trusts they are the reason we exist.
I cannot tell you how much it pains me to say this.
As things currently stand, I will not be exhibiting at or attending GCX in 2027 or the indefinite future.
The event has restructured their pricing and is eliminating the option to purchase a large booth for artist alley (eliminating a discount that we did not know we had), raising the cost of my booth footprint (same case for @bansheebotpete and @RazorsEdgeRaz ) for the last few years by over 200%. Artists with smaller booths are also seeing hundreds of dollars in service downgrades.
While asking for clarification and seeking solutions, we have been treated with a baffling amount of disrespect by an employee of the show (to be clear, this is not directed at Shane, who has always advocated for artists and devs alike, he’s a gem). Veteran artists are being removed from spaces they helped to shape and then being lied about, having their character attacked. I don’t know how we got here.
This tone shift feels like a turn from community to capital and it's hard to ignore.
Between this sudden and concerning price increase and the failure to promote Artist Alley during my time as an exhibitor in any meaningful way, it just isn't an expense I can justify anymore. We aren’t even listed on the event page. There were no GCX-official promotional posts. I’m tired.
Let me be clear. I am crushed. I am gutted.
And still, I will never stop making Destiny art. That’s what this is about, at its core. This community means the world to me, and that passion will never leave me. With some adjustments in attitude and pricing, I would love to return someday.
If you've gotten yourself a ticket to GCX expecting to find me in Artist Alley, I am deeply sorry to say that you won't be seeing me there.
I'm going to really miss my morning commute.

I pick my path before my prognosis does.
Went out and got out of my head with all this shit this week. Put things back in perspective. Smashed 10+ mile run. 20k steps before lunch.
My heart hurts the whole way, my head rings, my feet feel like static, my lungs feel like they're inhaling volcanic ash, but I push through that because I refuse to go back to my life where I was waiting to die by this disease.
My heart and lungs will lock in with me, or they'll give out- but they won't give out on account of me giving up.
