Paul’s parting exoneration after three years of ministry among the Ephesians:
“I desired no one’s silver or gold or apparel.” Acts 20:33
Oh, pastors! Keep your lifestyles lean. Wartime simplicity!
Infinite treasures are just over the horizon. They can wait.

As Christ-followers, we have a wonderful opportunity to be salt and light, to represent Christ, in the days ahead:
1) be wise and gracious in how you speak to others, including social media
2) remember our ultimate hope is Jesus, not a political figure/party. @LP_Delaware
Now more than ever we see our need to “get connected.” Let us help you take a step into community this fall! lifepointohio.com/ministries…
If you don’t have a church, I hope you can join us tomorrow morning! lifepointohio.com/watch
My soul finds rest in God alone;
my salvation comes from him.
He alone is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
(Psalm 62:1-2)
Great words of encouragement in the midst of the present crisis!

Commit to multiplication of the gospel. Build your systems around it. Strive for it. Pray over it without ceasing, and watch what happens.
In 2015 @resonate_church began to focus on multiplying churches, here’s what happened to our staff as a result. Make multiplication your driving vision and watch it move everything else forward!
The Scriptures are clear that God moves INTO human rather than teleporting us OUT of it. @clgrigs @LP_Delaware
As Christians have we adopted little more than a baptized version of the American Dream? Have we compromised? @clgrigs @LP_Delaware
Because of what Jesus has done, you are not the sum of your worst mistakes. There is another story your life can tell. @clgrigs bringing the Word to @LP_Delaware
Grandpa Booher passed away yesterday afternoon. While sad, more than anything we are grateful to know he is with King Jesus now. “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” Gone. Swallowed in the victory of Christ.

Doing some prep work for Now Playing series and the LOTR: Return of the King message. Using this mug for inspiration.

Heidi and I were honored to interview with @KaleBooher on parenting this AM at @LP_Delaware. The book I mentioned on discussing sex with your kids is Point Man by Steve Farrar. Here are two more books that I found to be super helpful in building family culture.
Though we can’t gather as the church today, we can still worship the King. Take advantage of the slower pace today and focus your attention on the Lord, and rest! @LP_Delaware – at Delaware, OH
