@saurabhtop leaving Lallantop truly feels like a personal loss! One of our best journalists, interviewers. Stunning Hindi orator, so good that even as a native speaker since childhood, a lot of the beatiful ornate Hindi words I've learnt come directly from his exquisite vocab.
I consider his work of creating quality news in Indian languages as one of the most impactful inspiring contributions in recent times to our needlessly anglocentric and journalistically compromised world.

Me and @SanjeevShenoy co-founded Airial Travel a year and half ago to solve a problem we faced in planning every single vacation. Hours, and in fact, days of tedious research, browsing, watching videos, searching social media, form-filling, spreadsheets, refinements etc. Even at the end of the process, we would often get a non-personalized trip that did not really fit our specific needs.
Our vision “Just imagine your trip, and Airial it!” stems from our ultimate wish as travellers - AI that can figure out all the intricacies of trip planning for you - hotels, activities, flights, trains, transits, deals, date options, restaurants, interests, research, travel videos and everything else.
Whereas we are officially announcing this round today, it is the fruition of several months of work and multiple partners who have taken bold bets on the future of travel and backed our ambitious mission. Thanks to @montageventures for boldly leading the round in 2024 when we were insistent on raising before our public launch which is rare for Consumer AI. Our co-lead @spc have been our backers, friends and mentors since Day 1 of founding our company. Our gratitude extends to @peakxvpartners who rounded off the round earlier this year.
