Wow.
NOVEMBER SURPRISE.
Former Miss Teen USA, Dr. Larissa Portnoff, just came out with disgusting, disturbing allegations against Donald Trump.
Portnoff is a highly respected New York–based clinical psychologist and clinical director of New York Psychology Practice, She earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Columbia University.
Every republican running tomorrow needs to get on record as to whether they support Donald Trump’s attacks on this poor woman.

Yes, incomplete election-night tallies and lead changes overnight are normal. Results are unofficial until the full canvass of Election Day, mail, provisional, and overseas ballots under state law. Different batches arrive at different times and often reflect different voter mixes, so leads shift without any votes changing sides. This long predates 2020.
2000 is a partial example of a razor-close race that took weeks of recounts and court rulings to settle, not a routine overnight batch flip. Bush led after the initial count; the process stretched to December.

PBS is factually correct. Under current U.S. election laws, results on election night are unofficial and incomplete. Mail, provisional, and late-arriving ballots are often tabulated after in-person votes, so leads in close midterm races routinely shift overnight or later. This has occurred in multiple cycles due to reporting order and state rules, not inherently fraud. Official certification always takes days to weeks. Rapid Response rejects normalizing the process, reflecting broader concerns about delays and transparency, but the described scenario itself is standard.

Businesses producing and refining oil have tripled their profits from last year earning north of $130 billion according to the Wall Street Journal.
The energy industry is rigged against the consumer. It’s bullshit war profiteering

Astronomer friends: remember, tonight is a unique opportunity to set up a telescope and give hundreds of trick-or-treating kids a core memory. Sadly, clouds will prevent me from doing it this year, so you will have to do it for me!
Saturn is in an ideal position to view tonight!

The guy who compared a Trump rally to Jonestown on live Fox News was invited by the Trump campaign. They called his work phone on Monday and asked him to come.
His name is Tom Hoyle. He's 57 and runs a small custom printing shop in Charlotte called MadPark Designs with his business partner. He's hated Trump since 1989, back when he was a sophomore in college. And he really, really doesn't like getting sales calls on the shop line, from anybody.
So when the rally people called, he said yes. He even signed up with his real name and contact info, because he wanted it on the record that they invited him.
Then he had to get through the door. A private security guy asked him straight up if he was a Trump supporter. Tom told him he supports the Constitution, then started talking about his shirt, which was for an old death metal band called Death. He kept going about the history of Florida death metal until the guard gave up and let him in.
His plan going in was honestly pretty juvenile. He and a buddy he grew up with figured he'd wait a few minutes into the speech and yell something filthy.
Then a Fox News reporter, Lucas Tomlinson, found him standing off by himself and asked if he could interview him live. Tom thinks a white guy with a big beard and a ball cap was pretty much exactly what they were looking for.
He told himself he wasn't going to cuss on national TV, so he made it up on the spot. He says the first line and then just waits. The reporter goes "Wait, the Jonestown Massacre?" and that's when he finishes it.
He told The Handbasket he picked that up from Billy Crystal, who said on Letterman back in the '80s that you always let the other guy set up your punchline. Tomlinson set it up for him perfectly.
A few minutes later some men who said they were Secret Service pulled him aside. He asked if this was about the concession stand, because it closed early and he was starving. They didn't love that and walked him out. On his way out he passed the guard from the front door and told him, hey man, you didn't vet me too well.
Think about how many people had a shot at stopping this. The campaign's call list found him. The signup form had his name. A guard questioned him to his face. A Fox crew put him on live TV. Every one of them took one look at the beard and the hat and filled in the rest.
That's how almost all of this screening works. Asking somebody what they actually believe takes time, and looking at them takes a second, so everybody just looks.
The one check that actually caught him came after he'd already said it on national TV.

Hegseth has ousted a three-star general--supposedly for leaking info but by some accounts for opposing a plan to attack Iran. The general's last name is Sylvia, and here's how intimately familiar Trump is with the case:
They had access to information then. Now players have access to even more and often better information.

Courts dismissed or rejected over 60 related lawsuits for lack of evidence. State audits, recounts, and Trump's own AG Barr found no fraud on a scale that altered any state's outcome or the Electoral College result. Isolated irregularities occur in every election but never reached outcome-changing levels in 2020.

TOM: There's nothing like seeing a cult right up front
FOX NEWS: Alright. So maybe this is not a Trump supporter.

Pretty interesting pitching philosophy this year by the Brewers. Just throw gas right down the middle.
If you're a coach and we've worked together/visited...you have heard me say "hitters aren't batting 1.000 in BP"
They know what's coming, and still hit a ton of 'outs'.
Pretty neat to see Mil embrace the data and analytics here.

The Brewers have high bat speed (about +1 SD over league average as a team) and great squared up percentage per swing.
Milwaukee hitters swing the bat fast and have good barrel precision. CLE is the polar opposite, while BAL has elite-elite bat speed but poor barrel precision.

No. Midterm elections are contests over policy priorities, not cosmic good versus evil. Voters weigh tradeoffs on the economy, borders, entitlements, regulation, and rights. Each side sees its positions as better for the country; neither holds a monopoly on virtue or malice.
I think he's right.
Jon Stewart is warning that people shouldn’t be “naive” about what Trump may do if the midterms don’t go his way.

I still always choose the window seat. This is a sight the kings of old never saw. Don't take flight for granted.
Medieval sailing ships typically covered just 60 to 90 miles per day. At cruising speed, a modern passenger jet could travel the entire circumference of the Earth—roughly 24,900 miles—in about 42 hours.
It's difficult to overstate just how dramatically modern transportation has transformed the world.
