Devon is one of the worst-hit areas for a shortage of NHS Dentists - today I asked the Prime Minister about shocking cases of people in North Devon who have resorted to removing their own teeth.
Have you, or somebody you know, experienced a DIY Dentistry Nightmare? I'd like to hear from you: ianroome.uk/end-diy-dentistrβ¦
It is shocking that in the 21st Century, anybody is forced to perform dental surgery on themselves with pliers, or increasingly, with kits purchased online.
I'm working as Chair of the North Devon Dental Steering Group and with my Lib Dem colleagues across the South West to push for an increase in dental student places...because without more dentists, those 700,000 appointments are a long way off.

"Water firm warns of possible hosepipe ban."
So here's a prediction for you, unless there is biblical amounts of rain over the next few weeks by the end of August most of England will be operating under a hose pipe ban. Severn Trent, Anglian Water, Thames Water, Souther Water et al.
And while that's going on remember this this, they've taken Β£84 billion of our money out of those companies, saddled them with Β£74 billion in debt and in return we can't even turn our taps on.

Today, MPs will vote on cutting Β£3,000 a year from 750,000 low-income sick and disabled people deemed too ill to work.
Thatβs a Β£2 BILLION cut.
This has had hardly any media coverage.
And the Government snuck out the Impact Assessment only last night.

The BBC are constantly bending over backwards to please Reform.
I fear they're becoming a mouthpiece for Nigel Farage, a guy who wants to destroy them.

Nigel Farage "Maybe we are nearing the end of time for the democratic process, I want to be Prime Minister to 'change' things."
That's as obvious a shout of "I'm a fascist and I want to be dictator." As you are ever going to get,

The desperately politically inept just trying to follow the orange blob from the US - we elect our MPs and our Cabinet for the very purpose that they are then accountable to the people
Some fantasy US dream run by money men and dubious think tanks is not how we do business

Nigel Farage and his Reform MPs just voted to let foreign governments buy up our British newspapers.
I guess itβs hardly a surprise since these fake patriots outsource all their policies to Trumpβs White House and Putinβs Kremlin.
