This election comes down to who you trust. I’ll fight to lower costs and always put you first.
I'm asking for your vote.
If it wasn’t crystal-clear before, it is NOW: Anyone supporting Tr*mp & his candidates also supports white supremacy. Full stop.
Bring back hatpins disguised as lapel pins or other jewelry!! Could be very effective on buses or subways …
In the early 1900s, unescorted women frequently faced public harassment and street "mashers" on crowded sidewalks and streetcars, turning their long steel hatpins into effective close-range weapons. Self-defense guides even taught women how to combine hatpin stabs with jiu-jitsu. Because the protruding pins caused accidental injuries in crowded public spaces, cities like Chicago, Baltimore, New Orleans, Pittsburgh, Seattle, and Milwaukee passed ordinances restricting hatpin lengths or requiring protective safety caps.
. . .
In the early 1900s, as cities like Chicago, New York, and San Francisco swelled with unescorted working women, harassment from so‑called “mashers” became a daily hazard.
Women’s fashion unintentionally handed them a weapon: the six‑ to ten‑inch hatpin, originally meant to anchor enormous Edwardian hats. By 1903, newspapers were already reporting cases like Leoni Blaker in New York, who famously jabbed an aggressive older man on a streetcar. These incidents weren’t isolated, women across the United States, Britain, and Australia quickly realized that the hatpin gave them something society rarely did: a way to defend themselves.
By 1910, the hatpin’s effectiveness had lawmakers scrambling. Cities from Chicago to Kansas City passed ordinances limiting hatpins to nine inches or requiring protective sheaths, citing “public safety.”
Police often hesitated to enforce the rules, and women openly resisted, most dramatically in Sydney in 1912, when sixty women were jailed for refusing to pay fines for overlong hatpins. The debate over these tiny weapons became entangled with the growing women’s suffrage movement, symbolizing the fight for bodily autonomy and the right to move through public space without fear.
The hatpin panic exposed deep anxieties about women’s growing independence. As more women entered public life, working, riding streetcars, shopping alone, hatpins became symbols of autonomy that unsettled male‑dominated city governments.
Newspapers sensationalized “hatpin stabbings,” portraying women as dangerously empowered, while suffragists cleverly embraced the controversy to argue that if society feared women with a simple pin, it was really fearing women with power.

In 2020, when Bill Barr was Attorney General, he crossed a lot of ethical lines, but still refused to use DOJ to overturn the election.
Not so with Todd Blanche. He is more than willing to interfere in Alaska’s election — or any other — if it will serve his master.
The best remedy for voters: make sure to turn out in such numbers that the result is not even close.

🚨REPUBLICANS WANT THIS BURIED
A video is going viral of all the times Trump promised to end Russia’s war in Ukraine within 24 hours of winning in 2024.
It’s two years later and all he’s become is a stool pigeon for Putin.

Over 1,000 women have been charged with a CRIME for having a miscarriage. Meanwhile, the big ugly bill is shuttering hospitals, especially in rural areas.
Make no mistake: reproductive freedom is still on the ballot. #VoteBlue

Republican Byron Donalds makes ONE point I agree with:
Black voters aren’t a monolith. Many are conservative, and BOTH parties need to earn our votes.
“If you talk to Black voters like I have, and you talk about the issues around affordability, around job creation, about academic excellence, about upward mobility, about building real generational wealth.”
He knows what Black voters want to hear. But his record tells a different story.
Let’s get into it.
1. HIS JIM CROW COMMENTS
Donalds said, “During Jim Crow, the Black family was together,” and claimed more Black people voted conservatively.
Jim Crow was an era of legalized segregation, discrimination and widespread Black voter suppression.

Gotta love President Obama for reminding us of the way a real president behaves.

This is what happens when you confront a malignant narcissist with their own bad behavior: rage, projection, and grandiose delusions.
Both the President and the richest man are the closest thing to biblical evil the human race can create.
