Our heating has finally come on after what feels like an eternity. Luckily our @OctopusEnergy heat pump is ticking over nicely keeping us all nice and toasty and it’s being powered solely from today’s excess solar. It feels a bit like top notch energy recycling ♻️ 👌🏼

I'm comfortable that crude oil extraction is 4.4 billion metric tonnes annually and we exract far more iron ore than precious metals, what I think you're refereing to. However, anything extracted for battery can be reused, recycled or repurposed, how does that work for crude oil that we set on fire to move about?
