A shoutout to the two Aussie cycling commentators in Paris, including @KatherineLBates . They explained some of the logistics/features of the sport - didn’t assume everyone watching knows everything. The benefit of having experts doing it
Ps - Tour Le France Femme starts tomorrow

Well hi there 👋🏻 @KatherineLBates & Scott the track cycling.
How’s it going? #PARIS2024
It’s been a massive first week at #Paris2024 - bring on the track cycling!
Worth the early alarm to catch Merckxy and Henk for a sneaky podcast before I head to the Velodrome.

We’ve been a bit MIA the last few weeks, but we’re on our way back….
@KatherineLBates
She did it! What an incredible moment of history. @GLBrown321! GOLD! 🥇
The first Aussie to ever do it!
Once an Olympian, always an Olympian. Once a GOLD MEDALLIST, ALWAYS a gold medallist!!!
25 of her supporters road side - led by Mumma Bear @RaatusRuth.
The ABSOLUTE best.
A beautiful moment for the Australian cycling history books with Neve Bradbury taking the Queen stage at the @girowomen, catapulting herself onto the overall podium at the same time.
Simply magnificent riding.

Ahead of the Queen stage @girowomen @KatherineLBates found herself reminiscing about the last time there was an 🇮🇹 winner.
And in true TWH form - the convo went from serious business to some curious 🧐 rider descriptions 😂😂😂 (@L_Hanson94 🫣)
I love:
Ruth Edwards (Winder) having a career break, then smashing back to the pro scene
Lippert winning w huge Aussie fanbase after winning Cadel’s Race in 2020
Neve Bradbury doing her thing
Elisa LB on track to be only 2nd Italian winner of the women’s Giro 🤩
@girowomen
What a massive ride for Niamh Fisher Black for her first @girowomen stage win and the first EVER win for a Kiwi! 🥝 🇳🇿
Her U23 World Champs victory in Wollongong in 2022 was such a wonderful moment to witness, fantastic to watch her career continue to flourish.
After the success of Brodie Chapman & Grace Brown at the @girowomen thus far + some seriously super domestique’ing from Lauretta Hansen, it’s great to see Sarah Roy throwing the challenge out on Stage 3. Go Aussies 🇦🇺
Nice ride by Consonni to edge out Kopecky.
Fairly sketchy final km but pleased to see the riders stay safe.
Love having live pics to watch. @girowomen
Hey @girowomen - can you please help me with how to watch the Giro Donne in Australia? Currently hitting refresh on the Pro Women Cycling app for the live TT times. 😔
The question: How to dress for business and comfort all in one.
The answer: Today’s outfit…. ⬇️
