It’s hard to put into words the loss of Scott Barnett MD. He had a lifetime of accolades, titles, and mentees before I met him & I was so lucky to be in his orbit for a short time.
In a 1 hr meeting, he could fix/anticipate any GME issue — then we’d conclude with something like scheming to set his grandson up with my daughter. I reminded him of that at one of our last visits & he responded “I can’t think of ANYTHING WORSE than being related to you”. 💔❤️
Great conference day for GME with @MountSinaiPeds followed by an Alicia Keys concert in Grand Central while waiting for my train!
