The Obamas are an extraordinary family who make me proud to be an American. Their intelligence, humor, and joy inspire me.

Not true. Hegseth gets his clothes from a company called Book a Tailor, which he confirmed in a Fox News segment. I suspect he got his clothes for free in exchange for this mention on Fox News. The company owner confirmed in an interview that their suits are made in Thailand.
In the time he since promoted this company, three US suit factories have faced closure. Instead of promoting US-made clothing, Hegseth promoted cheap imports that undercut US manufacturers.
You only think they're made in the US because the clothes are plastered with US flags. This is because you are more easily impressed by spectacle than substance, which is why this administration is so exciting for you.

Imagine if media corporations, institutions of higher learning, and white-shoe law firms had stood up to Donald Trump the way the American people stood up to him on Tuesday.

I’ve known many other defense secretaries, starting with Cap Weinberger, who served as defense secretary under Reagan.
I can say without fear of contradiction that Pete Hegseth is the stupidest and least qualified of them all.
He is a danger to the entire world.
He must be impeached.

Trump and his family are stealing your money and giving it to themselves. While you struggle to fill up your gas tank or pay your mortgage, they keep getting richer.
This IS about affordability, and Oversight Democrats are investigating their grift on day one of our majority.

While the wealthy and well-lobbied feast on inside information and official favors, America's forgotten families are treated to systemic corporate disrespect and official indifference, working harder and harder while the treadmill just gets faster and steeper, and the bills get higher and higher.

It is the honor of my lifetime to serve New Mexico as your 33rd Governor — and to make history as the first Native American woman elected Governor in our nation’s history.
I will always fight for the people and communities that made me who I am.
Let’s get to work.

The richest man in the world spent more money than most people will see in a lifetime, only to lose a Senate race in Texas by double digits. This is a reminder that we must overturn Citizens United. But it's also a reminder that organized people can still defeat organized money.

It will take more than two years to build a government that serves the needs of Americans, not a small class of oligarchs, but the Democrats can begin now
