It's been a while since I created the original version of this, so I updated it for 2026-27.
Note: these are the current projections for the Cap, Tax, Aprons and Exceptions.
Hope this helps people understand the various spending levels and restrictions with each. Send feedback!

"I know exactly who he was, I know what his gift could do, and I know that we were all just a little happier, a little better off, for getting to hear the song...for as long as we did."
@adamamin gives a touching tribute to his late partner, Stacey King ❤️
I'm pretty mad that not a single one of you told me that Ty Jerome was going to the MVP.
More in tomorrow's NBA Game Notes on The Basketball Bulletin, but Cam Boozer shot like crap, but he did so many other helpful things. Grizzlies are really fun!
The Luka Doncic-Walker Kessler lob combo has been at work early and often for the Lakers.
Issue for the Lakers is they've lost Stephen Curry multiple times on cuts. No idea how that happens. It's Steph!
Pacers-Pelicans is coming down the wire. Been a really fun fourth quarter. Tyrese Haliburton looks pretty good and just dropped a classic dime on Pascal Siakam. Zion Williams answered with a very strong and-1.
Pels are getting a lot of production from a lot of different guys.
I would say that Anthony Edwards isn't aware that there are even defenders on the floor. But he's trash talking everyone he scores on, so we know he's aware. He's just killing every matchup he gets right now.
The good news for the Magic in the first half of Sean Sweeney's debut: Orlando's offense has looked pretty good!
The bad news: Orlando's defense has looked very bad.

Sean Pedulla is also in the mix for Sacramento’s open two-way spot, along with Dalton Knecht, as we reported on today’s @BleacherReport stream. Sounds like Micah Peavy, Knecht and Pedulla are under consideration for several overlapping teams, including Toronto for all three.
Eventually, Kingston Flemings offense will be a big part of his game. For now, his defense is going to get him minutes. He's made a bunch of impact defensive plays already in his debut game.
Alex Sarr was already in for a big season (he improved a LOT last year), but he's really going to eat when he's out there with Trae Young.

For season opener on @CHSN__ , Adam Amin (@adamamin) wanted to pay tribute to Stacey King in a special way. He will call PxP in 1st quarter without an analyst, letting some silence honor Stacey, a singular voice. Our guy Robbie Hummel (@RobbieHummel) will join 2nd quarter

The Utah Jazz will waive two-way forward Blake Hinson, league sources told @hoopshype. Hinson averaged 11.9 points on 51.3% shooting from the field and 46.8% from 3-point range in 14 games for the Jazz last season.
