That’s a wrap! After 5 years as PIO I’ve officially passed the Mic 🎤. Looking forward to Engine 5, firefighting and hopefully a promotion to Battalion Chief in the near future. Thanks for the honor of speaking for the department. WOW, what a ride!

This weighs heavy on me tonight. Confronted with what seems like a never ending stream of complaints; this story reminded me of why I chose this profession and why I am proud to be a part of the fire service. #Sacramento #Fire
Posting this at the request of a friend … The other night I was out shooting photos and a call came over the scanner for a victim in medical distress at a car wash. There were 2 minor kids in the car. I usually wouldn’t go to this type of call, but was about a mile away.

Great work by SacFire last night
**Late Breaking News** Woman rescued from house fire just before midnight on Halloween. Crews arrived within 3 minutes to the 4000 Block of 43rd St. The woman was rescued and is in critical condition. HAVE working smoke detectors, HAVE a plan for escape and call 911 asap.

PIO’s get excited about different things. Like branding , communication tools, backdrops A/V equipment, cameras and phones. This podium is pretty dope though . #MC Wade

An honor to support Stockton Fire and the Fortuna family. #RIP Max.
The IMT treated the wishes of the family with respect and honor. The IMT handled everything. There are so many people to thank, and we are working on how. In the most immediate way, we wanted to thank the IMT right now. We know your support was a huge crutch in honoring Max.

SacFire joins @StocktonFirePIO in mourning the loss of Captain Max Fortuna. He served his community for more than 21 years. This morning, he was shot while responding to a fire. Our thoughts & prayers are with his family, friends & his Stockton Fire brothers & sisters. #LODD

Thanks for the delivery 📦😕
It’s not often that the fire is brought to us. A garbage truck driver realized that a fire was occurring in the truck tank & the decision was made to dump the load in front of station 4. That engine was on a call but a nearby company responded & saved the day. #trashtalk

The relationship between an engineer and their engine is a beautiful thing. Love what you do and nurture your work relationships. #RelationshipGoals
