Been working on this for a while! Happy to announce it properly.
Introducing Carbon - a framework designed to simplify Solana data indexing using Rust 🦀

Run microscope on your Solana programs!
The @SolanaFndn just open-sourced Microscope, a free monitoring & alerting tool for Solana programs.
We've tested it out. Its skills map alerts to our STRIDE security framework so the responding team has context to start from during an incident.

Solana Foundation is now a Platinum member of the Rust Foundation, joining at RustConf 2026 alongside NVIDIA.
Rust has been foundational to Solana from the beginning, giving developers the performance, safety and reliability needed to build a high-throughput network.
Alpenglow is coming.
"To go from 12 seconds to 400 milliseconds, we took a guess that our idea would work without any proof. Ignorance is bliss."
"A professor from Zurich called me up and said, I'm not 100% sure it worked, but this is how you would actually solve it. We hired him. Two years later, Alpenglow is about to go live."

Released Carbon v2.0.0 📦
- Full Agave v4 compatibility
- End-to-end Transaction V1 support, including its new configuration fields
- Correct account-closure handling for Agave v4 Geyser streams, preserving the final account state

Agave 4.2 is almost here.
The Agave 4.2 release brings three major feature-gated upgrades:
- 90% rent reduction
- 3.3x larger transaction size
- 200ms slot times
Plus, the complete code for Alpenglow, the largest protocol change in Solana's history, which is coming in Agave 4.3. 🧵👇

Max transaction size is growing by more than 3x
A new transaction format, Transaction V1 (SIMD-0385), activates on testnet at epoch 1025 raising the transaction size limit from 1,232 to 4,096 bytes.
Use cases like ZK proofs, large multisigs, BLS signatures, and confidential transfers that required multiple transactions now fit in one atomic operation.
In addition to larger max transaction size, Transaction V1 configures transaction resource requests (such as priority fee) in the new V1 header instead of using compute budget instructions.
Transaction V1 is opt-in. Legacy (the original format) and V0 (the format that added address lookup tables) remain supported. Existing apps continue working as is, and can adopt V1 on their own timeline.
RPC operators: update to v4.2.2 or v4.3.0-beta.3 to serve the larger size.

In the last 12 hours we did $1M volume on @Titan_Exchange - which is 20% market share on stablecoin-stablecoin pairs!
Happy to announce I've joined @SevenLabs_ as Technical BD!

There is (still) immense value in being the expert on:
databases
performance engineering
benchmarking
distributed systems
Brace yourself French @solana community, as the fire house is coming.

Let there be fire once more. 🔥
Q2 2026. Paris.
Just released Jetstreamer 0.5.0 which includes sequential mode: crates.io/crates/jetstreamer
This allows you to stream through solana old faithful txns sequentially at around 100-150k TPS with a good internet connection and clock speed!
Uses ripget's fast download windowing 🔥🔥🔥
you guys are way too emotional
the chains now scale, regulation is clear, and AI has reduced cost of shipping
crypto is internet native capitalism
for it to die, both the internet and capitalism would need to die and that's not happening
we'll be back higher than ever

Solana allows you to move money around with:
• >40000x lower fees (0.000005 SOL * $116/SOL at today's prices vs. $25 for a wire)
• >200000x less time (0.4 seconds vs. 1-3 business days)
• infinitely more transparency (block explorer + public ledger vs. radio silence)
Introducing Accelerate events between Breakpoint was such a good decision by @SolanaConf 🔥
If your team is looking for Solana/Rust engineers, feel free to reach out.
We have some capacity in February at @SevenLabs_.
Indexing on Solana is a solved problem at this point.
> Jetstreamer for historical data
> Yellowstone gRPC for realtime data (or now LaserStream so you don't have to worry about disconnects)
> Carbon to decode and pipe the data to your logic
We've come very far 🥹
