While I have to refine my footnotes I am confident in the paper that I have written today. Wow! My first paper. I’ve been doing so much writing but this really makes me feel good.

I knew from an early age that ministry would look different for me. Having a heart for people and community is my joy. This weekend I led my neighbors in prayers of gratitude and continual blessings. We prayed, spoke intention into our community and sealed it in song.

We made it to day 5 of intensive, this has been a life changing experience and I’m still looking for the words and language to express what I have experienced and hopefully my paper will reflect my understanding of the material

Returning to seminary after 15 Years isn’t for the weak of heart. This first week has really shown me who I am and what I need to do to make it.

Ken Alston Jr @54Below in his anticipated cabaret “Love Is…” shared a little about his meeting Whitney Houston while singing in the New York Boys Choir in 1991 and how she would ask the director to hear Ken sing. He dedicated this song to his love of “Nippy” and the audience

Today, I resigned from the position of Minister of Music/Worship Leader at the church I’ve served for 8years. It’s an incredible shift for me as I have made a life from being in that space. I will miss the congregation but the politics, were what drew me away.

Through out this year I have learned that expecting God to do what I want God to do is not allowing God to lead me. All things have to be done in God’s will for outcomes I won’t even understand until a later time and that is what we call “Faith”

Leaving 2022 feeling truly loved and affirmed and being prophesied on 1/1 that God is opening my heart to love, and erasing the hurt is the move for me. Cheers to ‘23.

Me holding on for @SouthwestAir Customer Service. At this point, refund me my air fare, early bird fare and my @Airbnb fee since it’s a no refund policy. Ridiculous!

It’s been an intense season as a Pastor and friend. Grief, Loss and unfulfillment are very high in this season, and are hitting close to my borders. Check on your friends, not because they are strong but because this season socially invites heaviness in the hearts of many.
