As of today, I am no longer assuming that everyone interested in physical art is also interested in #Web3, #DigitalOwnership or even knows WTF a blockchain is, they just like the art for the sake of art!!! (go figure haha) When they are ready though, or the secondary buyer of the asset (or their heirs) is, they will find that THIS #Cardano artist was steps ahead providing an NCF tag behind the signature line, linking them to the #NFT which is also stored in a "Paper Wallet" (attached in my case to the back of the painting) ready for them to transfer into their own digital wallet. Special thanks to @nmkr_io for making paper wallet creation super duper easy, and to @TYLRwithspaces for breaking ground on his version of shipping physical art with paper wallets.

Had a good week doing some Plein Air paintings for a local contest, met a ton of cool artists and yeah, pretty sure I am still the only one around minting an NFT, linking it to an RFID sticker by the signature line and putting a sealed envelope with a paper wallet in it for proof of ownership/COA. No matter what anyone says, using #Cardano blockchain for the #NFT, using pool.pm by @SmaugPool for asset visibility, @wayupio to see all my 1 of 1's in one place and @nmkr_io for minting and paper wallet creation is and has been the easiest path for me, and each of them have been working hard through the highs and lows and will be there for the next rise up. Thank you all for what you have been doing, keep up the great work!

Had an amazing weekend out in the woods... I know my X timeline is heavily aglo'd to the crypto and NFT community, so I'll revive the 21' mantra... Get outside and touch some grass!

Despite their impressive size, Great Blue Herons weigh only 5 to 6 pounds thanks in part to their hollow bones—a feature all birds share. #oilpainting #timelapse #RADR

In case you needed to know: The rich, whistling song of the Baltimore Oriole, echoing from treetops near homes and parks, is a sweet herald of spring in eastern North America. Look way up to find these singers: the male’s brilliant orange plumage blazes from high branches like a torch. Nearby, you might spot the female weaving her remarkable hanging nest from slender fibers. Fond of fruit and nectar as well as insects, Baltimore Orioles are easily lured to backyard feeders. In case you want to buy it: Catch me in the comments! #biggestweek #oilpainting

In case you needed to know: Yellow-throated Warblers are small, well-proportioned birds with sharp and pointed bills. Compared to other warblers, they are a bit more heavy-bodied with a longer and thicker bill. In case you want to buy it: Catch me in the comments! #Timelapse #Oilpainting #RADR

What Do You See? This painting is the creative result of my attempt to help communication grow with those who know, and those who don’t know about the struggle between pride and trauma, unresolved in the minds of many combat veterans. It is my hope that those who don’t yet understand what their loved ones are feeling and thinking can view this and start the conversation, gain better understanding and continue granting forgiveness to one’s self and each other. A reminder for both the civilian and the veteran, that we are all at different stages in our own journeys, while supporting each other. We often see and feel completely different things while looking at the same things at the same time. I titled this painting “What Do You See” because I believe your answer to that exact question will land you on one side or the other… that you know, or you don’t. I also believe that asking your loved one this exact question provides the opportunity to better understand the others perception and perspective. Not every member of the military had the same experiences, and each certainly does not live with the results of even the shared experiences in the same way. I choose to incorporate certain elements into this painting that I feel many can relate to, but are not inclusive to the divergence of emotional responses felt as compared to what my friends and loved ones encounter. This certainly does represent many of my own experiences, and those of the veterans I remain in touch with, to serve the purpose of demonstrating potent examples of seemingly every day sights... My full story about this painting is on my website here: keww.io/what-do-you-see/ Please, if you feel so compelled, share this with loved ones and start the conversation with each other.
