Pioneers, see one strong reason why a lot of people would be left behind for not completing mainnet checklist because complete mainnet migration must be accomplished. Not just pionner accounts but every node, super node must be migrated.
Regarding the information about the burning of PI tokens: yes, there might be some confusion.
This is Stellar’s mechanism, where the fee pool is removed from circulation and considered burned. This mechanism exists in the Stellar core that Pi Network utilizes.
We purely research on-chain technical aspects. If the fee_pool is reintroduced into circulation, it needs to be reflected in the source code. Additionally, analyzing Pi Network’s source code and on-chain data is currently challenging due to its incomplete openness.
We will investigate further and apologize if the information we provided is incorrect.
