Creating really is the process of self-discovery. Building Palindrome, I’ve unearthed and rebuilt so many assumptions and mental models

Honestly AI feels like a new unlock for consumerism For all those small random idea's that pop into my head, I just have to ask the magic genie. For the hard things I want to do - tbh those are still hard (for now)

I honestly can't get over how good the fucking ChatGPT app is - this is actually a cracked product experience.

Actually the chronically negative you can identify in hiring and avoid The real damage to startups is done by 'Smart Skeptics' Who are smart, sound even smarter than they are, are great at raising objections, can hold great intellectual conversations, have a lot of anecdotal evidence about everything. But can't execute/move metrics/ solve hard problems even if their life depended on it, because they are skeptical about everything. And they dissuade the believers as well. Avoid them like a plague
optimism wins

I would be shocked if OpenAI doesn't release smart home/office hardware soon. I imagine something like a little robot with a projector and camera following me around while I whiteboard things and whip it into CAD or software prototypes

Woah the ChatGPT Desktop app is so well done - Wow I actually prefer this to the Codex CLI The layout is perfect, they actually just reinvented the OS, built the "browser", the place where you live day to day.

The fact that they have a conventional browser was such a genius idea

This guy demonstrates a clear understanding of our issues. He's a legit classical liberal and a largely unconnected political outsider If you don't like him because he's running for the red team or because he sounds unusual for a politician, I kindly invite you to get over it.
We cannot have more leaders who serve word salad and a side of sloppy short-term thinking. Our next leader needs to take risks and offer a better vision for the future of Ontario if we're going to win.

Just goes to show the internet perspective on the motivations of why people vote left or right is inaccurate. Politicians who focus on irrelevant issues should be despised. They perpetuates the idea that our population is stupid, they’re not, most people are sensible
Carney still fascinating. Cuts net immigration to zero, announces 10% reduction in federal civil service, 1.2GW data center, cuts to cap gains and corporate tax, privatize airports, govt rapid support of fossil fuel extraction. Result: *massive* popularity incl. amomg left! 1/2
