3 simple tricks to get faster with text... No one talks about these keyboard shortcuts. They are simple. They are effective. I use them countless times each day. Mac 1) Delete a word: option-delete 2) Jump a word: option-left AND option-right Windows 1) Delete a word: ctrl-backspace 2) Jump a word: ctrl-left AND ctrl-right Those are crucial. Drill these first. Anything I type, I'm constantly using both—my cursor is flying around fast. This is an underrated power. I'm not a fast typer, but I can maneuver my cursor like a pro! Ready for an advanced one? Mac 3) Highlight a word: shift-opt-left AND shift-opt-right Windows 3) Highlight a word: ctrl-shift-left AND ctrl-shift-right I use this less often. But I know some of you can handle it. There are more, but seriously, just practice the first two 10 times each. "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times." - Bruce Lee
