While you are happy to receive money from a third world country. This is the state of health in here. I haven't talked about the lecturers strike
Bayern will receive €5m for the trip to Nairobi, Kenya to play a friendly against Ajax on January 5th. Vincent Kompany approved the trip, which was then handled by Marketing and sales director Rouven Kasper. 'For that kind of money, you have to do it', it was said at Säbener Straße [@mano_bonke]

No red carpet reception. No military salute or related hospitality. Just good, old terminal one entry cold room ambiance.

This is how to lose your political vehicle, ODM Style
Step1: Your founder dies, announce the most incompetent leadership while hes still in India
Step2: Allow rival political formation to organize his funeral. Attend funeral as observers. Wail a lot
Step3: Praise the rival party leadership at funeral. Confuse your dumbfounded followers even further
Step4:Attack those in the party agaisnt these moves. Decampaign them violently.
Step5:Remove your internal rivals from all parliamentary committtes. This will finish them politically🤔
Step6: parliament is not enough. Eject your internal critics from the party. Insult them
Step7: Your interval rivals arent finished yet. The take the argument to the party membership. They're winning. You launch a dumb counter Linda Ground.
Step8: you got decimated in the arguments, time to lauch last ditch effort. Organize violence.
Step9: Get beaten even in violence. Think twice. You arent that good in violence after all. Bribe Branch Chairmen
Step9: Now your benefactor who organized your founders funeral has penetrated your backyard. Cry foul, ask for money and carve outs of territory..
Step10: You have been swallowed, like a goat by a python. Only your legs and dirty orange panties are visible in the air now. You are about to be eaten alive
Step11: You are now irrelevant. Launch a new internal battle. ODM with Conditions or without. Accuse some of wanking for Gacagua
Step12: Ask your former internal critics to come 'home' beg them. Praise them as caurageous. Invite them to some amorphous arrangement
Step13: Launch another clumsy attempt. A tribal caravan to Jacaranda. .........alienate your founder national base further
Step14: Sense defeat, start defections to your former internal critic, and some to the ruling party. Now hes your 'elder brother'. Ask him to take care of his 'hungry siblings'

Ever notice that in Dune humans fly spaceships between planets but don't use a single computer?
That's not a plot hole. It's completely on purpose. The movies barely explain why, but once you know, almost everything else in Dune starts to make sense.
About 10,000 years before Paul Atreides, humans did exactly what we're doing right now. They built thinking machines to make life easier. They let the machines do their work and make their decisions, hoping it would set them free.
Instead, the people who controlled those machines gained the power to enslave everyone else.
Humanity eventually fought back in a holy war called the Butlerian Jihad, and won. The thinking machines were destroyed.
To make sure it would never happen again, they made one rule sacred: "Thou shalt not make a machine in the likeness of a human mind."
But getting rid of computers created a problem: who would do their work? The answer was humans.
Mentats are trained from childhood to think like computers. Navigators use the spice to glimpse the future and steer ships safely through space. The Bene Gesserit spend generations pushing the human mind and body to their limits.
Every superpower in Dune exists for one reason: there are no computers.
That's my favorite thing about Dune. It's also the most terrifying. Dune isn't a future without AI. It's the future after AI.
Frank Herbert wrote that in 1965.

i'm not a whistleblower. I don't work at Lilly, Novo or any of the big labs
but there is a massive shift happening in human biology right now.
it's sitting in press releases and almost nobody reads them
the last 6 months alone:
- a once-daily pill roughly doubled median survival in metastatic pancreatic cancer (13.2 vs 6.6 months)
- a one-time gene editing infusion cut hereditary angioedema attacks 87%, and 62% of patients stayed attack-free and off all other prevention for 6 months
- a one-time gene edit for cholesterol dropped LDL up to 62%, and it held for over a year
- a personalized mrna vaccine beat keytruda alone in a 1,137 patient melanoma phase 3
- retatrutide hit ~28% weight loss in a phase 3
- an ai-designed drug entered phase 3
- a pill that regrows hair passed its second phase 3
- an immunotherapy that could let some rectal cancer patients skip surgery, chemo and radiation just got fda approved
- a man lived 271 days off dialysis on a pig kidney
- human cells were caught passing chromosome-sized chunks of DNA to their neighbors, and it changes how the neighbors behave
we are on the verge of an era where the human body is a software problem and the update cycle gets shorter everyday
stick around, it's going to get weird

If you look closely enough, breakthroughs in everything are accelerating exponentially.
An exponential always starts off looking small.
