ive spent the past couple of days with my head spinning about the state of ai and how we're pretty much going to witness the death of white collar jobs. the upside is i get to entertain all of my stupid ideas much faster and there's basically no limit to what i can accomplish now

Three months to build, one night to go viral. Ep 1 of Made on Roblox is out now. Watch the full episode with the 99 Nights in the Forest team, @grandmasfaves, below.
it is truly such a gift to be surrounded by so many talented, positive and authentic robloxians. throughout all of these years ive seen so many of you all grow and blossom into the incredible people who continue to inspire me every single day. happy 20th anniversary @Roblox!!!
BOOOOOO!!!
Starting July 14th, Roblox will be reducing what creators earn from 2D items, from 70% to 30%. If sold in-game, the game developer will earn 40% and the creator will still earn 30%.
In addition, to upload either 2D or 3D items, you need to pay 200 Robux and be ID verified (or have a linked parent account). To upload, you will need an active Plus/Premium membership and pay a publishing advance, starting at 600 Robux. Totaling to 800 Robux, minimum, per item.
IT'S OUT!!! PLAY my game!

im so confused. whats the utility of not being able to play a game that hasn't been updated in a year when you're below the age of 16?

the impact on legacy games was not an intended outcome of the roblox kids and select global rollout. we are actively working on a fix.
the latest:
- games published before april 13, 2026 will maintain 16+ access, provided they have a completed content maturity questionnaire, regardless of the creator’s facial age estimation status.
- if a creator edits the game or its questionnaire after april 13, that triggers a publish event and the new publishing requirements will apply.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The correct date for games maintaining 16+ access (with a completed content maturity questionnaire) is June 15, 2026, not April 13. devforum.roblox.com/t/most-legacy-…
omg this is exactly it. realism is sooo mind bendingly boring to me. we're at the incredible age of technology and people actually prefer to look at something gray and gritty? wheres the fun? the color, the magic, the whimsy? i wanna get lost in an unfamiliar world!
