Most traders stare at candles their whole career and never understand the one thing actually moving them.
Every single move on your chart comes down to one event: a buyer and a seller agreeing on a price. That's it. That's the whole market. -- kevinomics.com/order-flow-th…
But HOW they agree is where the edge lives.
There are two ways to get into a trade:
PASSIVE — you place a limit order and wait. Buy on the bid, sell on the ask. You set your price and let the market come to you. Better price. No guarantee you get filled.
AGGRESSIVE — you place a market order and take what's there right now. Sell on the bid, buy on the ask. You cross the spread to get filled instantly. Guaranteed fill. Worse price.
Passive provides liquidity. Aggressive takes it.
Here's why it matters: when aggressive buyers keep lifting the ask, price gets pushed UP. When aggressive sellers keep hitting the bid, price gets driven DOWN. That pressure — who's willing to pay up and who's dumping at any price — is order flow. It's the actual engine under every breakout, every reversal, every fakeout that stopped you out.
You don't need a fancy indicator to start seeing it. You need to understand that behind every tick is a buyer and a seller, and one of them was in a hurry.

From High-Stakes Poker to Day Trading: Why 13 Years at the Table Made Me Dangerous in the Markets -- kevinlwalker.com/from-high-s…
I looked at the prop trading firm landscape and felt something I hadn’t felt in years: déjà vu. It gives off the exact energy poker had right when it exploded — a wide-open window, money everywhere, and a flood of new players who have no idea what game they’re actually sitting in.
I know that feeling because I lived the last one. I spent 13 years at the poker table. And everything that made me money there is the same thing that makes me dangerous in the markets now.

Fair Value Gaps Explained: How to Trade FVGs -- kevinomics.com/fair-value-ga… -- Kevinomics
There’s a pattern that shows up on your chart more than a hundred times a day, and most traders scroll right past it. It isn’t an indicator. It isn’t a secret strategy. It’s a gap in price action that forms during fast moves – and once you can spot it, you’ll know where price is likely to return before it ever gets there. It’s popularly called a fair value gap, or FVG. Stick with me to the end, because the single biggest mistake I see traders make has nothing to do with finding the gap. It’s how long they wait. -- kevinomics.com/fair-value-ga…

Before indicators. Before algorithms. Before anyone said "price action." -- kevinomics.com/japanese-cand…
300 years ago, Japanese rice traders were reading the market with nothing but candles. And those same patterns still work today — because they're not magic. They're a picture of the fight between buyers and sellers, printed candle by candle.
I put together a clean, no-fluff chart of the 23 candlestick patterns every trader should know — grouped by what they actually signal:
📊Single-candle signals (doji, hammer, shooting star, marubozu)
📊Two- and three-candle reversals (engulfing, harami, morning/evening star, three soldiers, three crows)
📊Continuation patterns (rising & falling three methods)
Here's the part most people miss: a pattern by itself is noise. The same shape means far more at a key support or resistance level, on a higher timeframe, with volume behind it. Learn the patterns cold — then let location and trend tell you which ones are worth your money.
Save this one. You'll reference it more than you think.

Most people blow up their first futures account in the first week. Not because they picked the wrong direction — because they picked the wrong contract size and didn't account for what comes with it.
The same market trades in three sizes: micro, mini, and full-size. Same chart, same setup, same strategy — what changes is the dollars per tick AND the liquidity behind each one.
Gold makes the size part obvious:
→ Full-size (GC) — $100 per point
→ Mini (QO) — $50 per point
→ Micro (MGC) — $10 per point
Same entry, same exit — a full-size contract moves 10x the dollars of a micro. That's the risk side.
But here's the part the "just trade micros, bro" crowd skips: smaller contract doesn't mean better to trade. Liquidity matters just as much as size. The heavily-traded products live in the mini and full-size — the E-mini S&P (ES) is one of the most liquid contracts in the world, far deeper than its micro. Thin liquidity means wider spreads and worse fills, and that slippage quietly eats you alive over hundreds of trades.
So the real decision isn't "smallest contract wins." It's: pick the size that lets you control your dollar risk WITHOUT trading into a thin book. Sometimes that's a micro. Often — especially on the big index products — it's the mini or full-size, because the tighter spread is worth more than the smaller tick.
Two rules actually worth memorizing:
1. A micro is always 1/10 of the full-size — every product. The mini varies (gold's is half, the index minis are a fifth), so look up the point value before you click.
2. Size by dollars of risk, not number of contracts — but check the volume and spread on the contract before you trust it for execution.
The full breakdown — sizes, the dollar math, and where the liquidity actually sits — is up at Kevinomics.com. Plain English, no fluff, built for the person a few steps behind me, and the past me.

Why I Read, Share, and Educate on Financial Literacy -- kevinlwalker.com/why-i-read-…
Kevin L. Walker on founding Kevinomics Consulting — plain-English financial education for people who, like him, were never taught money at home.
16 chart patterns. 📊One screenshot. Save this.📊
Most people lose money in crypto because they're guessing — buying when it feels good, selling when it feels bad. That's not trading. That's gambling with extra steps.
‼️Price isn't random. ‼️It moves in patterns that repeat, because human behavior repeats. Fear and greed look the same on a chart today as they did in 2017.
Learn to read these and you stop reacting, start anticipating (Kevinomics.com):
→ Bull flag / bear flag — the pause before the move continues
→ Ascending / descending triangle — pressure building toward a breakout
→ Head & shoulders — the top is in
→ Double bottom — the reversal is starting
→ Cup & handle — accumulation before the run
Green = bullish📈. Red = bearish📉. The arrows show where price wants to go next.
You don't need 50 indicators. You need to recognize what's already in front of you.
I broke all of this down — how to actually read charts and trade with a plan instead of a feeling — over at Kevinomics.com
That's where I put the education: plain English, real numbers, what I learned the hard way so you don't have to.
Patterns win — on the chart and on the balance sheet.

How to Remove Collection Accounts Using the FCRA and FDCPA: A Compliance-Driven Framework Based on Verification, Documentation, and Legal Obligation
Collection accounts are among the most damaging items on a credit profile. However, they are also among the most vulnerable to removal when challenged correctly — not because collections are inherently invalid, but because the modern debt collection system is built on bulk data transfers, incomplete documentation, and fragmented ownership records.
