Excellent diagnostic by @lennyzeltser on managing business risk and making Information Security the “How” group not the “No” group. As CISO’s move further into a world where they are at risk of being fired, arrested, or financially responsible, balancing risk / reward gets harder

@AmericanAir when I booked a new flight you said my bag would be moved to my new flight. Unfortunately it was loaded on a plane to FLL not MIA. How can you help me be ready for my presentation at 9:00am tomorrow morning?
I don’t get to MIA until after 9pm. Baggage in FLL closes at 5:30 pm and does not open till 9:00 am. What can you do to help? Ps your bag form is not mobile friendly.
Update - @AmericanAir just let me know that the FLL baggage service is open till 12:30a 🎉
This is so true. Every day I talk with "sysadmins" that think everything is new in the cloud. Even if the bits are new, the operating philosophy was set decades ago. Get under the GUI, behind the web page, understand what you are dealing with. Nice post @IAMERICAbooted

EU's Chat Control proposal is to effectively ban end to end encryption since it demands that governments can read all msgs.
I find this to be not only insane, but feasibly impossible. Breaking the whole internet. Yet it got voted on last week, and just narrowly stopped. Whew!
