Great first day at @TECHNEDTP Congress in beautiful venue of UAL College of Fashion. Inspiring talks and workshops on making and living, places of creativity and learning, emotional #archival encounters and even on #plants such as indigo, hemp and nettle. Great lunch too! 😋🤓💚

Word of the Day is one I keep posting at the end of the year, hoping its time will come.
‘Respair’, from the 16th century, is fresh hope, and a recovery from despair.
Here’s to a few drops of respair in 2025.

Next week, Charles Kennelly will take us through the incredible evolution of GIS over the past 30 years, from his early days as a developer to his current role as CTO of ESRI UK.

Did you know, leaves don't turn orange, yellow and gold in autumn? Those colours are already there, but are otherwise masked by the dominant green of chlorophyll. So when someone talks about leaves turning orange, you now have a smug response in waiting.

What an utterly perfect September evening at #SyonHouse celebrating 30 years of achievement of @ThamesLandscape. So lovely to see patron Sir David Attenborough there and looking so well. Looking forward to hearing about the new next phases. Congratulations to the team.
