‘What a situation it is when in a modern-day UK large numbers of people can’t afford to buy food from supermarkets, which are themselves offering it at a price too low for there to be a sustainable margin for every segment of the supply chain.’

Let’s hope you don’t mention robotics in your press releases, describes ministers responses perfectly, we’ve been denied access to labour, have had to endure massive input price increases and are expected to invest more in standards & environment while being undercut by imports
What a terrible service from @BT_Openreach we are now on appointment number 6 to connect to broadband, going from December 2022 , order placed with @EE on 1st December . They win the prize for worst customer experience and can only offer apologies. Sorry is not enough!!

What a strange time we’re in, I’ve heard of a farmer having to work a 48 hour shift to milk/feed his herd, can’t find staff, another down sizing by 2/3, same reason & today some poor devil hung themselves near the edge of the farm, it’s time the pressure was reduced for everyone
Livestock verses plant farming , it’s not as simple as that to reduce carbon and retain our countryside.

A shameful lack of foresight. Money and loopholes come first with this government.

Keep your dog on a lead around livestock and please have the decency to own up if this was your labradors. Could have saved the calf. @FutureFarmerYAS @FarmersGuardian #tragic #ruralcrime #countrysidecode
