This is a much bigger problem in pro-Ukrainian Twitter than most people realise.
Most of these people the critical thinking skills of a potato.
Ghost of Kyiv? Believe it. Video-game footage? Real combat. 13 dead Snake Island heroes? Except they were alive. Recycled footage? Ukrainian victories. Inflated kill counts? Absolutely. AI-generated sob stories? Must be real. Putin recruits Swiss people to kill his own friends? I know it must be true!
And apparently, the Strait of Hormuz has moved to Bangladesh whenever a random moron says so.
These people will swallow any bullshit that makes Ukraine look good and Russia look bad, then call themselves defenders of truth and democracy.
Fact-checking is Russian propaganda. Critical thinking is treason. Hitting repost is patriotism.

‼️ Niemiecki dziennikarz namierzył oryginał grafiki, która wzbudziła wczoraj i dziś falę kontrowersyjnych (żeby nie powiedzieć nieprawdziwych) doniesień o spadku aktywności rosyjskich botów/trolli.
Stworzył ją "24 letni steward Frank" i oznaczył jako ...wygenerowaną przez AI (co już wczoraj podejrzewaliśmy). Niestety politycy, którzy podawali dalej ten materiał, tego oznaczenia (celowo lub przez przypadek 🤷♂️) nie zachowali i źródła też nie wskazali.
Co więcej, niemiecki instytut badawczy Cemas zajmujący się dezinformacją, instytut Hasso Plattner i thinktank Polisphere oficjalnie ❌ zaprzeczają jakoby obserwowano spadek liczby postów, który można by wytłumaczyć atakiem na Yandex.
"Ani aktywność istniejących botów, ani tempo tworzenia nowych nie spadły, jak pokazują dane, które zbieramy".
No ale to dane z Niemiec. Tymczasem w 🇵🇱Polsce minister Siemoniak powiedział, że "ABW odnotowało radykalny spadek aktywności rosyjskich botów w sieci. Jest to zjawisko obserwowane na całym świecie po zbombardowaniu trzech centrów danych."
Ale ABW niczego w tej sprawie jak na razie nie upubliczniło. Miejmy nadzieję, że upubliczni. To by dopiero było! 🍿Na razie wiemy że "na całym świecie" najwyraźniej oznacza bez Niemiec...

The Soviets destroying the Kwantung Army in 1945 Manchuria was Desert Storm before Desert Storm in terms of the decisiveness, speed, and relative size parity between the militaries of both sides. It might even be a much more impressive achievement.
Japan surrendered because of how fast the Soviets rolled through their strongest and most elite military arm. Not the nukes.
Yet nobody even knows about it because Ameriburgers run global media.
The Japanese got their ass kicked so hard in 1939 they spent the next six years avoiding war with the Soviets at all costs. But please act like they hadn't fought since 1905 or even 1918 (Which the Soviets won I should remind you)
Vasilevsky made good on those words as 1.5 million Soviets came screaming over the border and killed 80K of them and captured well over half a million.
They still mald about losing those islands to this day.
