ALT G'day everyone! I know most of you know me from my endeavours on restoring the closed beta of KHML, however I took a small detour and have been working on something a little different to avoid burnout. I've ported KHUχ+DR to PC/Mobile via the web. I'm pretty much ready to publish this aside from a couple things here and there. cont. ─►
ALT The port works for both Japanese and English versions of the files, and I will be archiving both sets on Archive.org for preservation sake (and use with this project) Here's what I'd like some advice on from people who played through DR though: I haven't played DR much myself - One of the limiting factors was how much of a grind everything was, I know a few others have echoed the same sentiment. As such, I want to make some small balancing adjustments. I don't entirely know where to start though as I haven't played it much. So I need your suggestions I need those of you who have played the game to go into detail about value-only (not functionality) changes that I can mod to make it a bit less of a grind. I won't be changing mechanics or adding mods massively here - just tweaking numbers a bit for things like BP, and whatnot. cont. ─►
ALT For those of you who don't care about the gameplay, there is a button to instantly unlock all of the cutscenes, a way to set your BP so you can buy/level as much as you want, etc. I've also added a way to speed up/slow down the game. You can just leave it running in battle's on 8x speed for all it cares. If you think these changes are already enough, then great! Otherwise, I think it would be best to talk in multipliers of existing values for alterations. For example, if you're talking about BP, consider the default rate of acquisition as 1x, you might all decide that it should actually be acquired at a rate of 1.5x the rate it normally is. Or for a shop, you might think that the items should be 0.75x the cost that they currently are.
