In eyes with primary rhegmatogenous retinal detachment & high risk features for postoperative proliferative vitreoretinopathy, repair with combined vitrectomy & scleral buckling resulted in a higher odds of surgical success. @KhanRetina ow.ly/HXkj50PeYFO

The funny thing, @MRStarrMD , the weekend didn’t feel bad at all 😂🤷🏽‍♂️ Was an honor to be your attending on your last ever weekend call - a real milestone of the Wills fellowship. Well deserved and congrats!
Finished my last call weekend as a #retina #fellow @Wills_Eye this morning. The weekend had it all, RDs, an IOFB, endophthalmitis, retinal tears, and my personal favorite, a perforated scleral abscess with panophthalmitis. So many learning opportunities.
